Don't know if this is a waste, or just awesome. Too overpriced if you ask me .

Too much money, too much hassle. I have the 2-BD slipcover set that you can buy at Target for $35.00 and Wal-Mart for $25.00. (I of course went out and replace ROTF with the Big Screen Edition asap.) Hopefully they'll have a slipcover box for all three films at some point, but this? No. Too expensive, too much hassle. I can see it wasn't just a simple thought and that they put some actual work into it, but no thanks. I'll have to pass on this.

It seems like a pretty good bargain to me ... then again ... Australian retail prices. *sigh*

All depends on the flick. At target (Seattle) I saw a buncha flicks around 12 bucks, but then somthing like BladeRunner is 30 bucks or so. but I think 12-15 is average for average movies.

Wal-Mart has bargain Blu-Rays starting at $10.00. Next step is $15.00, newer releases at $20.00 and combo sets are $25-30.00

Target's pretty much the same, but 2-3 dollars more.

And here I thought target was cheaper.... oh right, i'm not from the US, so it sorta is

i wonder what kind of exclusives target and walmart will have,because i already own the first 2 on blu-ray,this set blows.

The most important question: Will this include a 3D copy of the movie? Because my 3D tv i bought for the soul puprose of this film is just waiting for the awesomeness...

If I were to buy this set @ $33/movie I'm hoping there will be a couple things in the set: 1)There are Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital copies included. Lots of Blu-Rays have all 3 included (thus, the reason for the price tag) 2)Deleted scenes. Or the scenes Michael Bay put in the IMAX versions. The glorified slipcase isn't necessary but looks pretty cool nonetheless.

For those complaining about the price, this is a European release and European BR prices are higher than in the US. This set costs about the same as buying all three separately.
Hopefully this will come out in Germany too, I've been waiting fur such a release.

Godammit!!! Have they not taken a look at Dave's Geeky Ideas!?!?! We want a triple box set only and ONLY if it can turn into a trailer(preferably for the Leader Class Buster Prime mold).

I'd buy it. Just because it would be nice to have the entire trilogy all in one set.

JB Hifi frequently discounts the Blu-Rays of TF1 and ROTF. I remember getting them for 2 for $25 a few months back.
