When Dinobots Attack. Grimlock, Swoop and Snarl will be released in Japan this weekend, and Alfes 2010 has gotten a head start. You've seen Grimlock earlier today, and now it's time for the other two, Swoop and Snarl. There aren't any major differences compared to their Hasbro counterparts, the colored Autobot logo and shiny gold paint are characteristic to Takara Animated figures. Check out each figure's packaging, robot and alternate mode below!

I like Snarl's grey more than the Hasbro version.

Little to no show accuracy? Really? I'm honestly shocked. I knew they were chroming them, which isn't show accurate, but I thought they'd catch the details Hasbro hadn't.
How very odd. Well, I've heard that the ratings for Animated are terrible in Japan, I believe it was stated that it's been canceled there, so I'd guess the toys wouldn't be a high priority either.
Shame. A terrible shame. I just don't get it. Where's the love for TFs these days?

I believe it was stated on a Power Rangers board. They have a TF thread in which they discuss the movies, toys, shows, etc.
I'll dig around and see if I can find the info. I don't think the toys are in any danger of being canceled, they've already been produced and just need released, so I doubt they'd lose money on something they've spent on.
I think we'll see more of the missing stuff from TakaraTomy long before we'll see it from Hasbro.
