We've got some more big news out of the Hasbro Media Event, specifically the final results of the Power of The Prime fan vote! If you remember, the final four candidates in the vote were Ultra Magnus, Star Saber, Optimus Primal, and "Unknown Evil", also known as Deathsaurus, and now, thanks to an announcement at New York Toy Fair, we know that the winner is....

Optimus Primal!

Transformers News: Re: New 'Power of the Primes' Fan Vote Online in January 2017

It's still unclear what this means for Transformers fiction or products, but it's presumed he'll get a new toy released sometime within the next two years.

I assume this just means they will bring his Masterpiece over for a US release. Besides Deathsaurus the 3 finalists all conveniently had recent masterpiece versions not released stateside yet.

...? In Primal's major fictional appearances, he's always been portrayed as a good person and in Beast Machines even seemed to ascend to the centerpoint of moral integrity. I really don't think there's cause for concern that he'll be a bad guy.

He might also have been saying that Primal was in the 'chaos' category and chaos=bad. But his 'chaos' reason was 'sometimes crazy works' so I think we'll all be good

I think they were referring to how he was in the "Chaos" category. But I didn't that as him being evil more like he's got a few screws lose, in a good way. But they can make him plenty cooky, that was one of the main draws for me.
