The last we really heard from Loyal Subjects was all the way back in June, with the SDCC 2015 poster of their waves (upcoming and gone). Fellow Seibertronian xRotorstormx now gives us a sighting of the latter end of wave 3, which includes orange G2 Constructicons, Red Mirage, White Sunstreaker, Marlboor Wheeljack and Blue Swoop from the Hot Topic in Jackson, Michigan, as announced in late November by the company itself on Twitter. If you're still in the market for these, now is the time to head out there it seems! Happy hunting.

After their extremely detailed, high-end collectable non-transforming Dark of the Moon based Transformers replicas, it looks as though 3A might be venturing outside of the movieverse for their next project, as hinted at by their production blog update - simply titled 'More Than Meets the Eye', and featuring and Autobot logo with 'Generation 1'. How G1 will they be? Which iteration of G1? Are you interested either way? Let us know your thoughts in the Energon Pub!

Fellow Seibertronian chuckdawg1999 brings us a video review of the highly desired deluxe class Groove. This Groove was part of the TakaraTomy Mall exclusive Unite Warriors Defensor box-set.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:While Takara did repaint two existing molds giving the figures new heads, for the Superion and Menasor gift sets, no one expected them to create an entirely new mold for Defensor. Well that's just what they did and Groove is a near perfect update of the G1 character. The transformation is simple yet effective, utilizing the same leg transformation as the Aerialbots. Hopefully Hasbro releases this figure domestically for collectors on a budget.
You can check out Hasbro's representation Here. And don't forget to sound off on how you think this figure turned out. Did it do the original figure justice? Or do you prefer your Defensor to have his motorcycles turn into armor instead of an arm?

You'll recall our news story last night regarding the Transformers: Robots in Disguise Radz Candy Dispensers, and you might even recall when we initially reported on these way back in February during our Toy Fair coverage. These have actually been out at retail for quite awhile in two varieties of packaging. One method of purchasing these is to check your local Five Below store, where you'll find these on cards with a clear blister pack. The other is at your local Target store, in a point-of-purchase display that you may find either up near the trading cards or within the regular toy section.
Each comes in its own little baggie.
The back of each bag has a code followed by a letter. The letter is important if you want to know which one you're going to get inside - more on that later in this post.
Inside you'll be greeted by the bizarre terror and/or exciting fun of one of the dispensers themselves. Each also has a little clip on it for you to attach it to stuff and things.
Pull back the hair and it will shout obscenities at you! Well actually, it'll just dispense the candy at this point, which you load up by removing the hair, then pouring inside of the toy. I didn't do this, but I did eat some of the candy. It tasted like extremely generic candy. Sorry that's not more descriptive, but this isn't a site you can expect breakdowns of the subtle notes and food pairings to go with your sugar pellets. Kids will probably find this candy to meet expectations of generic packed in sugar stuff.
Each one of these does come with a little poster unique for each character.
Speaking of characters, the reverse of the poster (and the back of the bag) shows those available. But who could this "mystery" character be?
It's Fixit.
Finally, here's how to identify what character is in the blind-bag based on the letter that follows the numeric code on the back.
Bumblebee
Optimus Prime
Grimlock
Underbite
Steeljaw
Strongarm
Sideswipe
Fixit
Disclaimer: These are my own findings based on one case and purchasing one bag of each letter designation out of the box. Your results may vary if this was somehow a strange fluke, though I doubt it based on the presumable case breakdown. Going by the one I used to gather this information, one each of the mystery character Fixit is in each case, with two each of Grimlock, Underbite, Steeljaw, Sideswipe, and Strongarm. This case seemed to yield a ton of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee figures in the case compared to the others (6 or 7 of each), which makes sense given other current Transformers brand marketing trends.
Hopefully this information helps some of you out there that stumble upon these and either want some fun merchandise of a favorite character, or maybe want to give a surprise stocking stuffer to a young member of your family. Just don't tell them you already knew what the surprise inside was from looking at Seibertron.com, gotta keep a little magic left in the holidays!

With a bit of a slow news weekend, we thought we might direct your attention to a fun little project brought about by Bamloff, who are creating a line of thinly veiled Transformers homages... out of wood! Little vehicles transforming into humanoid robots, made out of tiny blocks of wood and elastic - a perfect, if slightly expensive, stocking filler. Check out some of the images below, and the full story over here, including pretty cool GIFs for each figure.
They’re robots. They’re vehicles. They’re kindling. I guess that makes Bamloff’s line of wooden transforming robots triple changers. Either way, WooBots are very cool.
[...]
What I think these really are is an unofficial sequel to the Transformers: Beast Machines cartoon, which ends with Cybertron being changed (back, so they say) into an organic world and Rattrap hooking up with a tree. These are probably his children.
Whatever the true origin of these wooden robot beings, WooBots are a very cool idea, and unlike many cool Kickstarted ideas, they’re supposed to begin shipping as soon as the Kickstarter is over. That means (based on Canadian dollar conversion rates) an entire set of five could potentially be under your Christmas tree for something like $99, with single figures running around $26.

For those collectors so far unaware, or that perhaps forgot, Takara Tomy Mall has been running campaigns where limited edition Collector Cards have been available when buyers in Japan purchase ¥3,000 or more of Transformers products. Cards so far have included Arcee, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Megatron.
If you're collecting these cards, it's been revealed via the campaign's page on the Takara Tomy Mall site that September's card is none other than Ultra Magnus!
While this does rely on machine translation of the page, it seems this line up of cards is intended to go with figures that never included Collector Cards in their initial releases during Generation One.
Will you be tracking this card down to display with your Ultra Magnus collection? Maybe you know of an easy way for importers to track these down? Let us know by replying to this news post, and as always, keep it right here at Seibertron for the latest Transformers news!
