I know, I know. Just bitter because I want it out of the G1 mold, darn itSabrblade wrote:Except that its three compatriots were likewise made from the Classics mold, so why do otherwise for their fourth member?ScottyP wrote:The existence of the Platinum Edition Conehead set makes this mold choice make even less sense than it initially did.
The larger portion of the end vertical wingtip should be above the rest of the wing. It's below it here.
And, unfortunately, this does seem to be a widespread occurrence. The good news? You can swap the entire rear wing/thruster assembly fairly easily by taking just two screws out of each of his legs. The bad news... The factory seems to have painted the stripe with the misassembly in mind, so swapping the wings will give you an upside down stripe.

Logic dictates that this is canon.Counterpunch wrote:Nacelle

Nacelle is an exceptional battlefield courier. Brought into service during the emergence the InfoWars, couriers that could deliver uncorrupted missives from command posts to the front lines became invaluable. In a line of work where memory, attention to detail, and speed are necessary, Nacelle is the top of her field.
Her incredibly high efficiency rating caught the attention of Shockwave, who began employing her services in increasingly difficult situations. Proud and dedicated to the cause, Nacelle pushed herself beyond both her mental and physical limits to live up to these expectations. Her constant need to be somewhere else has left her frantic and constantly obsessed with time. Daring and dangerous quick take-offs eventually shredded her wings to the point that Shockwave fitted her with replacement vtols in place of her standard issue Seeker wings.
Now fitted with a body that enables her anxious tendencies even further, Nacelle knows its only a matter of time before she works herself to death. The clock is always ticking and Nacelle can hear its pulse better than anyone.

That's a pretty cool bio.
I am partial to the one he comes with though, having wrote it.

Real talk - get with your club homies and tell them Counterpunch needs to write a bio or two sometime (assuming he's willing). Some of the stuff this dude comes up with that has been explained to me in casual conversation is a freaking gold mine of cool ideas.Powered Convoy wrote:I am partial to the one he comes with though, having wrote it.
Minor correction of the misassembly comment: Though the rear wings are indeed swapped, the paint apps on there are NOT upside-down. So if one does the simple fix of switching them, both the rear wings and their paint apps will be in their proper arrangements with no errors.megatronus wrote:Why must there always be a misassembly?
We're praying premium dollars for a premium product. Premium QC (or even standard QC) ought to come with it.

Be careful, though. Just found out that the legs might be glued so, in addition to unscrewing them, you might need to carefully pry them open with a knife, but only if the tailfins are that bothersome.megatronus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Minor correction of the misassembly comment: Though the rear wings are indeed swapped, the paint apps on there are NOT upside-down. That's good to know... I'll have to fix Nacelle's lady bits up when I'm back home.

Only if you want her to be. The club's bio states that Nacelle's a he, but those are clearly lies and slander against Counterpunch's awesome bio for those of us who wanted Nacelle to be a she.
