It seems everywhere I turn there's a protest asking for the termination of the franchise and/or the director. Are there any out there who appreciate the movie franchise? ANYONE???!!! Furthermore, (dare I say it) is there anyone who considers the Movie universe their favorite Transformers continuity? I feel alone here. I'm so sick of people telling me why I should hate the movieverse. In fact, a Bay basher told me today that he and his fellow Bay bashers take every chance they can get to criticize Bay fans when anything relating to the movies comes up. And before you ask, YES! The movieverse is in fact my favorite TF continuity. I apologize if you can't deal with that right now.

No worries, man. You have a fellow fan right here. As for my favorite universe? I don't know, Animated is pretty much it for me, but this is a solid second place.

I look at the Bayverse as it is, not what it should be. I find it to be fun, outlandish, ridiculous and entertaining. I'm not expecting it to be serious and downtrodden. I'm so glad it's not Dreamwave on the big screen. (I sure hope IDW has lighter stories, because Dreamwave just bored me and depressed me to tears.)

It's not perfect, but nothing is. It's been a great tool in bringing past, present, and future generations of fans together, and some of those fans are coming from outsiders who would've never given us a second glance. That's pretty cool and shouldn't be overlooked.

In about 5-10 years, people will look back on this era, fondly, and complain about whatever's current then.

It's a cycle, it's guaranteed to repeat. People can't help themselves.

Im on the bandwagon as well. Michael Bay is a director who makes a mans movie (Armagedon, The Rock, etc.) and he does an amazing job of making sure that you stay into the movie the entire time. Granted, it might not be what alot see as accurate or the way they would do it BUT it is done the way that millions of fans love it. This is my favorite continuity as well. 1. We get to dive head first into the action and suspense that makes us love Transformers. 2. We wouldnt watch them if they werent something that truly intrigued us. And 3. For the first 2 we got to stare at Megan Fox for 2 hours haha.

Wait, Fringe actually got good? I tried to watch the first couple of episodes, but it was slow, completely ridiculous, and boring.

Exactly, my thoughts too. The first half of the first season was slow and boring and I stopped watching. After a couple of months I gave it another try and the second half is pretty good. Now I'm a big fan. :)
