Yeah, seriously, Heroes is baskicly trying to do the same thing as Lost, only with out making as much sence, without having an overall plot (cuase you know, S2 had little to do with what happened in S1), and with NO subtlty...

Dont get me wrong, I like heroes, but it really did just try and jump on the lost and comic book bandwagons (dispite not beign based on any comic books).

Heroes season 1 was okay, but then some where along the line the writers went "okay, we're out of ideas, let's read X-Men comics and see if they can inspire us!"

Seriously, look at some of those story lines and tell me they don't paralell X-Men stories!

I read an interview with the people that created Lost. They said it themselves they have no idea where the story is going...

I never got the appeal of Lost. Every time I watched it all I saw was overacting and badly written lines.

Eh? The Patrellis alone overact more than the entire lost cast...

Perhaps it's simply cuase I saw lost before I saw Heroes, but Heroes seems to be desperatly trying to nick Lost's audience, which seems rather pointless, when most of lost's audience has enough time to watch both shows, if only Heroes got one with doing it's own thing instead of copying everything in sight....

The fact the writers of Lost dont know where it's heading apeals to me, becuase most people dont know where their life is heading, the fact most shows are clearly heading somewhere only serves to clearly show they are works of fiction (I know virtully all shows are works of fiction, but the longer a show can suspend that knoladge the better, and lost does it a hell of a lot better than anything else out right now).

I'm not a fan of Heroes either. I've never attempted to watch it, but I have attempted to watch Lost, that's why I talked about lost and not Heroes

Origanaly, I thought lost was a retarded idea. So I avoided it. Then my (then) housemate bought the first half of S1, and I was completly hooked.

So yeah, lost is good mkay. And anyway, you think Slipknot is the hight of artistic achivement, so what do you know?
