oi, Jamie went through some kind of caveman regression and even his country style feels overwhelming marketing inspired. Nothing better than an alcohol addicted chef.

I .. know this because my wife needs to watch every cooking show on TV. yes... this includes Ready, Steady, Cook.

I'd firstly like to say, I absolutly dispise any form food programs, they either treat us like idiots, or tell us about foods that only really skilled chefs can make,and that I almost cirtainly dont like.

Anyway.

That said, all those chefs you mentioned. Lightweight.

There is only one heavyweight in the field of truly aweinspiringly aweful tv chefs.

His name?

Ainsley.

That man annoys me more than the combined powers of annoyence of Shujjah, the spaz twins, Burn (at that time of the month), work and GW Bush....

Maybe if he could just, you know, not smile. Just once. I might not want to kill him to death.

I actually watch cookery shows quite a bit, I have to admit. I'm a bit of an amateur chef, you see. Georgio Locatelli probably has the best one on the teevee but it's not on often. Him aside, I'd say Jamie Oliver's probably the one worth watching the most. I genuinely don't hate him, like a lot of people do, and his cookery's pretty interesting.
That said, the one thing I hate the most in all the world is probably Michelin Star-style cooking. Presentation is an afterthought, it's not meant to be more important than the taste. Also, God damn all you Brits, meat should ALWAYS be well done, not rare. There's a reason they say "well done". Any other way and it's not done well.

What was so special about this mission? Well, with 1:00 or thereabouts to go, neliz was the only one in it.

The rareness of a steak is in direct proportion to the quality of the meat. The only exception to this is Wagyu, which is a horrible waste of such an expensive cut to tartare or carpaccio.

A good steak is a matter of mood and sight, if it looks tasty in the pan or on the grill, it is done. This includes the full spectrum from flame kissed to leather patty. Nobody can tell the truth of meat unless they cook it themselves.
