Nope, but you could own a light blue KO though!
I don't approve! I already bought a blue KO, and NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE is allowed to have another just like it.

That video is great.

LOL. I like when people do video reviews of repaints. IT'S THE SAME **** FIGURE. How can you spend ten minutes talking about something that is a different color?

Frankly I think there might be enough of a market (even if it were just through the Collectors Club) for "blank slates" that Hasbro could cash in on.

So? Does the Fans Project City Commander not equal a KO of Ultra Magnus? Or their Defender release not equal a KO of Springer? I don't see the point of debate. So what if it's a KO, half the toys that are in the news on the site are KOs.

There is no debate. Just sore asses.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Better yet sell them Kabaya style so that you have to cut parts off of trees and assemble the toys. That'd save kitbashers a lot of time and it might be an angle that Hasbro/Collector's Club could work to get interest up. For instance the Energon Starscream mold should be sold like what we're talking about. The reasoning is that a fair number of people want the Skyraiders from this year's Botcon. And me personally? I want a Skyraider style Hooligan even if I have to paint it myself. He's my single favorite G2 character and it kills me that we didn't get a Botcon Hooligan or TFCC Hooligan. They do it for the Botcon Customizing Class every year with one mold. Imagine if they sold a mold on the site for anyone to buy for a year.

What if it is? It's illegal! This is the intellectual property of Hasbro.
So you're saying you're ok with people stealing stuff. And I'm assuming that as long as it's not your stuff it is ok.
Buying knockoffs is stealing.
Loki God Of Mischief wrote:I might try my hand at kitbashing with them if they're cheap enough. Does the site have a picture of Skywarp Scaleface? Is he repainted like the Thundercracker KO?

Here are pictures of the KO white seeker and the KO black seeker no one seems to care about as much as the KO blue seeker:
As you can see they have also perfectly Knocked off Hasbro's ability to mistransform toys on the backs of the boxes!

Receiving stolen property actually. But then again so is buying stolen Chinese Prototypes/toys.
That is if it was a crime. Buying knockoffs is not a crime. Making them may or may not depending on the country of origin. And usually the stores buying them have no clue that they are knock offs. However buying stolen merchandise actually is a crime.
Look. Can we just agree to disagree and avoid a bunch of drama? People don't agree with you, you don't agree with them. The only rational thing is for everyone to just accept that both parties have valid arguments and neither side is completely correct.

I'm tired of you using that admin functionality to win arguments.
EDIT:- I mean seriously dude. Every time a news item like this comes up I groan knowing that I'll have to read another one of your shunts against the product and everyone that's for it. You could at least be an amusing elitist like CP (who always gives me a little chuckle over things like this), but no. Instead you just make snide comments that make you look bad, and hide behind your position when challenged.
It's unprofessional and uncool. I've gone from liking you in my newb days to hating you now, happy?
^^As for your post Real Devastator, I bet you're right. All these little leaks are fantastic ways to garner interest in the product, and surely I'm not the only one that finds the slow steady trickle of pictures are details we keep getting is a little suspicious =P Just enough every now and then to keep us looking their way.

That is not appropriate.

Loki God Of Mischief wrote:Nekoman wrote:That's a cute way to try to make this personal. Razorclaw's comment was completely innocent, if I were him, I'd be mildly offended.
So like most of the internet you're far too easily insulted? Telling someone that they don't have much of an imagination or creativity when you're talking about toys isn't an insult man. We're talking about toys here. Sure some are collectibles but they're always intended as children's playthings.
Scaleface wrote:BTW - I said someone didn't have imagination because they couldn't accept the idea that some of us would be happy with a simple "blue seeker" knockoff as our "a Thundercracker" for our collection. I know some people have to be completists, but for those of us happy with a KO as a place filler, don't tells us can't have our toys. Even if I had the money to buy a Botcon Thundercracker, I'd spend it on something more important... diabeties research or a fundraider for cancer survivors... or college classes so I can get my degree and a better job... or somesuch, and buy a KO with reprolabels for my toy shelf.
