Nope, but you could own a light blue KO though!

I don't approve! I already bought a blue KO, and NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE is allowed to have another just like it.

I like you. We should be drinking buddies.

Well, on the one hand I already bought a pair of Universe Screamers ($13 a piece on Amazon back in October!) to repaint into TC (100% done) and Skywarp (10%), on the other, I have a chance to make the Rainmakers and Sunstorm! Now all I have to do is find them.

I might try my hand at kitbashing with them if they're cheap enough. Does the site have a picture of Skywarp Scaleface? Is he repainted like the Thundercracker KO?

When people start fighting over this stuff, I wish I could find that video on youtube where there's some kid getting all emotional over some nonsense drama about Peaugh and Sean Long doing "first look" reviews and how they should give other people a chance or something, and then just post the link to that... That video is great.

Look, in all the discussion about BotCon Thundercracker and Henkei Thundercracker, there have been a lot of good points and a lot of bad points made by many clever people and some made by some very stupid people. We've been over the ethics of exclusive toys, the reasons for the limited release, the BS, the contradictions, the rage, the trolling, the nastiness, and the peace.

The important thing to remember at the end of the day, when all is said and done, what is truly important on this topic, is that I own both of those figures.

So, no matter what side of the argument you're on, rest assured that I have my Thundercracker fix covered.

Thank you for the concern.

LOL. I like when people do video reviews of repaints. IT'S THE SAME **** FIGURE. How can you spend ten minutes talking about something that is a different color?

Seriously! I don't understand how people can watch those videos in the first place.

After seeing one or two pictures, I get the drift. I don't have the patience to watch 10-hour long reviews of something that I'll eventually buy anyway.

I dunno... gimme several white ones, a few cans of various spray paints, and some time, and I'll have me a nice army of generi-seekers or 'drones' to back up my Classics (maybe even base their paint jobs on non-seeker mold G1 Decepticon flyers, like Misfire and Slugslinger).

Frankly I think there might be enough of a market (even if it were just through the Collectors Club) for "blank slates" that Hasbro could cash in on.

Better yet sell them Kabaya style so that you have to cut parts off of trees and assemble the toys. That'd save kitbashers a lot of time and it might be an angle that Hasbro/Collector's Club could work to get interest up. For instance the Energon Starscream mold should be sold like what we're talking about. The reasoning is that a fair number of people want the Skyraiders from this year's Botcon. And me personally? I want a Skyraider style Hooligan even if I have to paint it myself. He's my single favorite G2 character and it kills me that we didn't get a Botcon Hooligan or TFCC Hooligan. They do it for the Botcon Customizing Class every year with one mold. Imagine if they sold a mold on the site for anyone to buy for a year.

So? Does the Fans Project City Commander not equal a KO of Ultra Magnus? Or their Defender release not equal a KO of Springer? I don't see the point of debate. So what if it's a KO, half the toys that are in the news on the site are KOs.

F**k these KOs they started the whole f**king Thundercracker bitchfest again.

Other than that these look pretty nice and would make perfect kitbashing stuff and with just a few bits of paint and repro labels they can fill in the spot for those that can't afford the legit ones. The blue one looks pretty.

What if it is? It's illegal! This is the intellectual property of Hasbro.

So you're saying you're ok with people stealing stuff. And I'm assuming that as long as it's not your stuff it is ok.

Buying knockoffs is stealing.

Receiving stolen property actually. But then again so is buying stolen Chinese Prototypes/toys.

That is if it was a crime. Buying knockoffs is not a crime. Making them may or may not depending on the country of origin. And usually the stores buying them have no clue that they are knock offs. However buying stolen merchandise actually is a crime.

Look. Can we just agree to disagree and avoid a bunch of drama? People don't agree with you, you don't agree with them. The only rational thing is for everyone to just accept that both parties have valid arguments and neither side is completely correct.

I need to correct u that the prototypes or for that matter S250 or Gen Zhao's newly unseen toys etc, are NOT stolen toys.
Those are rejects from the factory that unable to pass the QC.
These rejects are put on sale, so u will see it on eBay or someone else will buy it and post the images online way before official release.

Eg. Leader Class Starscream - why are the toys from Peaugh or Seibertron gallery or S250 etc, the electronic gimmicks are dead? We have seen Leader Class SS toys, but no one can confirm what is his voice gimmicks now right?
Why is such a coincidence?

If you are interested to be another guy that has access to unseen/unrelease toys and has loads of money, i can tell you who or where to look for.

Do you think Hasbro has such poor security system that they keep losing toys everyday continuously for 20 or 30 years?
I dont think Hasbro is stupid, all the news (officially or unofficially) are sanction by them, one way or another.

I'm sorry my post was so blunt, but doesn't it boil down to the same? You're angry because a figure you bought for a large sum is now more or less available to the wider audience for less right?

But then, and what I can't understand, you know this isn't botcon TC. Anyone buying botcon TC will know it's not (going on the thought that botcon collectors have actually seen the figure they want before going out to find it), it's obviously inferior in that it's plain blue and undoubtedly lower grade plastic. Why get annoyed by it, and take shots at others that like it?

You're not the only one who bought botcon Thundercracker man.

Besides, what I could've written would have been a tired argument that has been posted many times before, every time classics TC raises his head. And I'm tired of posting it.

So like most of the internet you're far too easily insulted? Telling someone that they don't have much of an imagination or creativity when you're talking about toys isn't an insult man. We're talking about toys here. Sure some are collectibles but they're always intended as children's playthings.

Shup'.

Toys are serious business around these parts.

I know some people have to be completists, but for those of us happy with a KO as a place filler, don't tells us can't have our toys. Even if I had the money to buy a Botcon Thundercracker, I'd spend it on something more important... diabeties research or a fundraider for cancer survivors... or college classes so I can get my degree and a better job... or somesuch, and buy a KO with reprolabels for my toy shelf.

Scaleface, you got a little too passionate there. Razorclaw's a good guy, and he really didn't say anything to warrant the little comment. It was just kind of rude, but moving along.

I think the KO serves okay as a fill in for Thundercracker. Though I gotta say, after paint supplies, reprolabels and the cost of importing the knockoff, wouldn't it not be much cheaper than actually buying Gentei Thundercracker? Reprolabels aren't exactly cheap.
