FP CarCrash landed on my doorstep this morning. So far I'm very impressed with the finish and plastics on this guy. He's my first FP piece, so id no idea what to expect.

Sorry if my impressions aren't the most in depth. But if anyone has anything they wanna ask, go ahead.

That's OK with me. It's good to hear from someone who hasn't owned anything from FP before as I've become a bit jaded perhaps and have different expectations having owned many of their products in the past (some I liked, some I thought sucked) so I expect that your thoughts are a good baseline if looking at the figure as a standalone or compared to Has/Tak TFs. Your thoughts give me hope that these guys are going to be worth what I paid for them and that I won't be quite as disappointed as I was starting to fear

My not breakdown arrived today. The panels can be quite a pain to align, particularly the shoulder and wrist tabs. You have to exert quite a lot of force. Also the feet panels will gouge each other if you are not careful. Painful transformation aside though, the figure is a marvel, and the best i have seen from fp on that scale. Articulation is great. Overall, i'm pretty impressed.

Was really wanting these. but im not sure. They look smaller than i was expecting. I knew theyd be smaller than the TFC combiners, but not that much smaller....Have to wait and see motormaster before i make up my mind though.

I've been thinking about the cost of these guys :-?

The Stunticons are about the same size as FP Insecticons, right? (please correct me if I'm wrong) In that case, when compared to TFC Arielbots which are twice the size I'm starting to think that TFC is the better value...

Obviously this is dependent on how much Motormaster costs, but Not-Silverbolt isn't that expensive considering he is only $30 more than his buddies and is a lot bigger.

If the costs have been spread out then that's great, but if Motormaster is more than ~$80 then I'll be seeing this set as more expensive than anything TFC has released based on the size differences.

TFC's prices are starting to look a lot more reasonable

I was so excited when I saw it pop up in my e-mail. Made a good day even better.

Got Carcrash sitting in my PoL, got Bloodbowl on Steam for $10, got my Werewolf 20th Anniversary Kickstarter wallpaper, and finally bought a new car after 1.5 months of not having one(got t-boned by a guy running a red light three days after I moved here).

Yeah, it's a double edged sword. It's great for shipping and like Christmas when you get a bunch of cool items at once but it's not for those who are short on patience.

Using the Pile of Loot feature has taught me patience. I always weigh the options for whether it's better to wait and save on shipping or get it now and that's helped me learn.

Woot! I should have both in hand by the end of next week.

I have to admit that the POL scared me away because I thought the bill for it came all at once. Since the figures are charged as they come in, and not when the POL is shipped, I see advantage in that.

Really, I could probably save even more money by driving over to pick them up. I'm like 40 mins from BBTS...

I hope Kapow gets CA-10 in soon then , since i got car-crash on monday it would be awesome to have them both within a week or two :grin:

, i noticed kapow have CA-9 instock which i was a bit surprised by i thought more people would have bit.

I got Cupcake as well this week. Canada & the UK online retailers got their shipments before the US.
