Not a fan of Menasors shoulders or elbows. They make him look kinda half-arsed, like the designer just couldn't be bothered...

I don't see how else they could do the arms. They transform into cars, after all, and one a race car (not exactly known for bulk). I'm not a fan of the gappy elbows, but that's how their Bruticus did it and I can't say it bugs me.

The only really new thing about this image is the sword.

Love the sword! hope he comes with a gun. The yellow they picked for dragstrip still bugs me and yes the elbows i just hope there's no loose joints :evil:

Motormaster looks awsome transformed as the body really excited to see him and i love the fact he has calves, the hands and feet are really nice as well, just show me a finished product in full colour :grin:

I can't believe I'm now falling into the "On the fence" category, but I have to agree with my brother. Until I see final pics AND a pricetag for motormaster, I'm not biting.... though with that kind of thinking I'll bet I miss out on at least 2 of the others by the time we get that.

And just looking at how much of Menasor MM takes up even I can't imagine him being anywhere near under $100 :BANG_HEAD:

Also for the legs...shouldn't the cars be in the back????

In the G1 cartoon, yes. However, Fansproject's design is based more heavily on the IDW version with the cars on the front.

I actually prefer this. To me, it gives Menasor more character. Very neo.

I agree. It makes him feel like a proper combiner with the differences between the limbs.

Been a while since I checked in on this thread. (Can you blame me with fifty plus pages?)

I'm happy with FansProject's choice of alt-mode for Dragstrip. I'd always thought that if I had the skills and resources to make my own custom Stunticons, then I'd have gone with a Caparo T1 for that character.

I'm a little miffed at how unlike Dead End Dead End looks, but it's a good looking figure, so I can live with it.

MotorMaster has a cool truck mode, even if his trailer appears a little snapped in half. The decision to have Car Crash and T-Bone simply attach to the legs of Intimidator strikes me as a bit lazy, but if they somehow add to the stability of the knee joints then that'd be kinda cool.

I'm a little down on the size of the figures so far, but it's not deal-breaking. Menasor can get away with being a smaller gestalt, but it would've been cool if they could individually stand eye-to-eye with Sunstreaker, Optimus, etc. My point of view is that FansProject backed themselves into a corner upgrading Hasbro's figures, but I appreciate them trying to increase the sizes of this new team.

I reckon this is great like Menasor has calfs inally a combiner with calf. The head seems only slightly larger than FP Brut and i thought he had a small head compared to his body but I guess the shoulders make his head look small. The stick on leg cars seem to remind me of the combination scene in "Starscreams Brigade" when the stunticons rescue Megatron from Brut so maybe thats what they were going for

Now that the second one has arrived at BBTS, I shipped my POL. I only have room in the back of my Con shelf (enough for Menasor) so I don't know yet if they're going up on their own or what yet.

I finally got mine today! Botmodes are good, altmodes are good,transformation could be better, and they'll make great legs and that's what I really want. One thing I was surprised by was the size. Everyone was making such a stink about them being tiny but they're really not. Smaller than a Classics Deluxe, bigger than a Scout class, about the same size as Munitioner. Here's a couple of pics of mine with HTS Dragstrip, my G2 Munitioner, and RTS Windcharger whom I was planning on using last year in my custom Menasor that didn't get much beyond the planning stage and a few Motormaster pieces I made.

Is it possible to get a few more pics with other deluxe and voyager class CHUG figures? I would like to get these seeing as the only thing I haven't liked so far is Deadend's feet, but the more I've seen the more I've been turned off by the size. In those pics they look good, yet in others they have looked tiny. Just can't justify any 3P figures if I'm even a little unsure.

Here they are on my pre-Movie Con shelf. You've got Seekers, Bombshell, Bruticus, ML Soundwave, all manner of other figures there. I have a pretty complete Classics collection so if you want to see them with any bots in particular, name them.
