Finished up the last of the single-player achievements. I also got a couple screenshots of the Animal King Opera and the unf-tacular Chell.

I think what you meant was, UNF, DAT CHELL
If that bed was any indication, girl really caught up on her beauty sleep.

Yeah, considering she wasn't particularly attractive in the first game. Kind of hard to tell both models are based on the same lady.
Incidentally we both happened to get rare shots of her where her eyes aren't really freaky. Which is weird Valve would have a character with freaky eyes, they're masters of facial animation after all.

Duke Nukem Forever [PC]:
Replayed The Hive in order to find the dead space marine. Just need to find the Borderlands Psycho and I'll have the Buckethead Achievement.
Found all the Ego upgrades in the Duke Burger. At Duke Burger, Part 3, in the storage room after the game room.
Forsaken World [PC]:
Figured I'd give it a try since it's on Steam now, making it easy to get the client, and a friend of mine was looking forward to it. The female characters are quite unf-licious, but there is no option anywhere to flip the camera's Y-axis, so I can't play the game. There are many threads on their forums made by players asking for a solution, and the only official one is "use a third-party program."
The name makes a lot more sense now, eh? If they're too indifferent to put in a staple of gaming which many players need to be able to play at all, it really does not bode well for the game in any way, shape, or form. Why would they bother balancing stats, release patches, or make new content if they won't put in a feature that should be there to begin with? And there AREN'T third-party programs that will fix the issue anyway, especially if Forsaken World uses DirectInput. I spent days trying to find a way to get Beyond Good & Evil playable since there's no mouse-invert option in that game as well, found nothing, and gave up.
Promptly uninstalled Forsaken World, and from the looks of things, I'm not missing much.
Minecraft [PC]:
A buddy and I play GTA IV multiplayer together, usually a game mode we dubbed "Survival Mode," in which we start a private Free Mode server, use the whole city, gear up, and try to survive for as long as we can on 6-star Wanted level. It often gets pretty damn exciting.
So we decided to try something similar in Minecraft, which we've dubbed Kane & Lynchcraft: Odyssey to the North. Basically, it works like this. We started a new world and the only goal is to "get the f#&@ out of [there]," by moving to the north, using the clouds to guide us. During the day, we hunt for food and leather and get some resources we can use, but most of the game (day and night) consists of us pressing onward through the strange land.
Nights become the most exciting, because the game becomes combat-oriented. Fighting monsters with our swords and bows trying to escape and survive is a much different experience than the usual building-stuff-that's-awesome that we usually do. Wolves come in really handy. Kanenlynchcraft is not building-oriented at all, and when we do build stuff, it's just small temporary shelters (dubbed Safe Houses) so we can set up some tables, craft and cook, and make a chest to offload crap we don't need. Before we leave, we mark off Safe Houses with some flaming Netherrack for navigation purposes, not that we'd use them again, since we're pressing onward to the north.
Man, I write too much.

Whoops, forgot to mention that. What happens is we build beds in the Safe Houses, so when you die, you respawn at the last Safe House, giving you chance to resupply, make new weapons, etc. The other one picks up the dead guy's stuff and uses the teleport command to return to the Safe House. Then we start again, though we might take another route!

Finished Duke dome, AKA the hive. oddly, I wasn't overly disturbed by this since I remembered a similar bit existed in DN3D. After putting down the queen, got a bonus level at Duke's pleasure palace (real location name not able to be mentioned in polite company).
