And the alt modes, if I may say so. I don’t know if the ‘Con players are experiencing the same issue, but the common alts for us ‘Bots don’t rotate in. And there are many great alt modes I’m we’re missing out on.

Can someone explain in layman's terms what is wrong with the armor page so that I can take a look at it. I don't think my characters have enough experience for me to understand what they can or can't do on the armor page.

Hi Ryan - see here, from the initial reports in October.

On the Armor page, the form sends the desired armor ID, quantity etc in the POST (I've checked, they're all still being sent correctly) but the page reports an error in matching the armor ID. Assuming that the code is still similar to what it used to be, the page called a getAvailableArmor() function to get the options from the DB, then matched the incoming POST variable (per character, as $ai) to the returned array. The specific error message that's being emitted happens at the point where it tries to match the $ai variable into that array.

My educated guess is that the getAvailableArmor() function is the culprit and is hitting a DB error so it returns an empty list, but that's just speculation.

On the new site layout I can get into HMW, but the spacing is weird on the page that shows past missions and I can't activate any bots

Got them activated when I flip over to the live site off the beta but on the missions page on live there's no enter or begin mission button to deploy.

There are probably going to be a lot of bugs in HMW at this point due to conflicts in HMW's code with the rest of SEIBERTRON at this point. Unfortunately, these are going to be growing pains until we get to the other side. I will do my best to address issues as they come up in a timely fashion. I apologize for the inconvenience. This is all necessary so that bigger and better things can come down the pipes. I have not encountered these issues with the rest of SEIBERTRON, it's just the custom code in HMW that is conflicting with the way I do things on the rest of SEIBERTRON. As stated, growing pains. Please hang in there and don't get overly frustrated with this as I work to resolve these issues with HMW.

On the beta site, there is currently no submit button for the CR Chamber. (On the minor side, the checkboxes are not vertically centered.)

No worries. I figured I'd at least report what I'm seeing and you'll get to it as you go. Complete overhauls are a lot of work.

It is indeed, especially on a legacy site like Seibertron.com. There are over 2,500 PHP files that make up Seibertron.com currently. Not all of them will survive the purge here in the next month or so but it's an incredible amount to work through.

Just for comparison >>> there are 95 PHP files that make up HMW (again, not all of the files there are actively used)

355 PHP files make up the Energon Pub.

Toss in the style sheet and javascript files and it becomes daunting very quickly.

The spacing will be significantly off before it gets better most likely. HMW will no longer look the same after I'm done with it and bring the HTML into the modern age. In the meantime, there will be issues with the HTML as styling support is removed for legacy content and until the code is rewritten. Some of the legacy styling conflicts with modern industry standard styling due to conflicting styling names and because of how different modern websites are built compared to how they were built 20 years ago.

Put one of Cons in a mission. He joined the mission. When I click on the mission he isn't showing in the mission. This is a current mission. My Con is Galvatron Prime

I see him in there currently (at time of writing, the mission has started and presumably been processed, but not showing as complete yet), and looks like he was in there ~15 mins ago when I did a sweep of active missions. Might be a weird display issue on open missions or some caching happening somewhere?

He was in at missions end as shown in the mission log. Like you said it was probably just a display issue

Yyyeah, best I can tell it's only showing a single bot while the mission's still open - likely the last to join, since the one I can only see my own bot in definitely had an opponent when I joined. I initially thought it was just showing your own faction, but I can see a single Decepticon in a mission that says it has 2 Cons and no Bots.

Seems to show all the combatants when it's started or complete, but broken while it's still in the signup phase. Cool.

Give me ~30min to test... I've put a bot in a no-hope mission with manual CR turned on, so will check when it completes.

The problem is that the Submit button for the form wasn't appearing on cr-chamber.php. The CR (cron) process itself is fine, so it only affects people who manually put their bots in CR.

Also yay the forums are back.

Nope, submit button is still AWOL.I'll check again if you report fixing it (I have a workaround to put the bot in CR without the form).

You can test much more efficiently than me though, since you don't have to do a mission every time - just set one of your bots' health to less than 100 in the DB and go to cr-chamber.php to see if the button is there.
