HOWEVER, i've yet to see OS's plans on that so that may change.
Do you know if they are entirely separate factions yet? I.e., will we see Decepticons versus Predacons? Or are they sub-factions of a whole? Or, is this part of the info. that you're not privy to?

Back when Glyph was the "Big Man," that's what the plan was, and it would have included G2, Vehicons, and anyother "sub-faction" within the main

I think the majority of us aren't happy with the losses, but considering it would be a hell of a lot easier to start over than to reset our bots to figure out the new engine, I think most of us have come to accept it, if grudgingly. Personally, I'd like to see OS at least allow the older players to keep a small amount of energon, even if it's not as big an amount new players recieve when they start, but that's how the cookie crumbles.

You knowI'm really looking forward to this. I've been thinking of rebooting my team (Have already changed the team name) and everything I'm hering sounds fantastic. Can't wait to see it.

On the other hand with the alt-modes. The Autobots and the D-Cons had beast alt-modes. Not many but they did have them. The Maximals and Preds were/are pre vehicles. The Transmetal ones were few in numbers and they come later.
That said. I will now talk about the CR Chambers. I thought that they were introduced in the Beast Wars series, and only shown in the series involing them. I could be wrong and if so correct me please on anything that I have said.
With all the bots reseted the battle field will be even. Which would be great.
Battle Beasts will be gone? Ok don't use it much.

Actually the Predacons were lead by the Tripredacus council, BW Megs was just leader of a small renegade faction that consisted of the guys shown in the cartoon only.

CR Chamber will remain as it is now. However there is discussion underway to have certain aspects of it change down the line. i.e. having more armour might make for a longer or more expensive repair

more expensive I think is the path to take....longer CR time is robbing playing time. and we all know time = XP in this game.

I think that idea got knocked on the head a long time ago due to the (very likely) possibility of abuse and the difficulties monitoring it.

The altmodes will be going through the rotator so they'll show up again, it just might take a bit of time.
That's not entirely accurate, though, as not all altmodes are in the rotator. I know that this isn't priority number one right now, given the crash issue, but I would be very disappointed to lose Whiteout (as an example)'s alt mode permanently, given that I've had to avoid resetting him after it turned out his alt mode wasn't in rotation.

..um, but wouldnt those "report a violation" buttons on every profile be for that. So that [IF] a idiot does somthing like that.. then we could hit it an poof... a mod comes to look it over???

All things said and done - right now we've got 3 mods, I haven't seen any sign of one (Alpha Strike) in months and only one can actually do anything about possible violations and he's flooded with work at the moment with V2 and fixing the game and, my guess, will be busy for some time fixing our gripes.
Several people have requested things like this before and I still like the idea. My advice - Don't forget about it and when the HMW II dust settles ask again.
