OK, guys, nothing to squabble over.

Would a completely-CG movie (like 2007's TMNT) set on Cybertron be acceptable?

I just doubt whether these actors will constantly have good preformance in the following episode of Transformer Movies. If actors or playwright are tired of the movie story, I am afraid nothing will be going well.

I think if there was to be a more robot heavy movie that would be probably a better direction to go in. I mean what's point of a live action movie with no actors physically in it?

It should still be a live action movie, but have very small rolls for humans, the transformers should allways be the main charactors.

That's terribly unrealistic and pointless. It costs entirely too much to make a robot heavy film live action. It costs tons of money just have a few sec clips, why fights were so short in the first film. If you want a robot heavy film you'd be much better off with an animated or CGI movie than trying make movies in a live action setting.

Yeah, that was my thinking as well. But I wouldn't mind a movie with just TFs in it, set on Cybertron. Or even set on Earth, where the humans are just bystanders or kind of part of the scenery and collateral damage. Not actual characters.

Or how about a Beast Wars movie? Seriously.

Paramont and Hasbro have made a ton of money from the Transformers movies, keeping it live action, they can make a lot more. Every year computer technology gets better and better, a few years down the road by the time they release part 4, they will be able to make a robot heavy movie. If they make it animated or CGI they loss a lot.

And if there is a song included from TF:TM, I would prefer the theme song at the end. But I am sure they will once again collaborate with Linkin Park.

I'm hoping for a reboot. as I'm not a fan of the micheal bay TF live action movies. I hate the dialogue the most. I don't like same,his family nor friends. I really dis-like all the silly humor & side show tiny robots.

Honestly what I want to happen. is a new director. more talented actors/actresses. better dialogue. a actual decent story.

I'd love a see a pre-queal "war for cybertron" type zero story. where the transformers are on cybertron in the beggining of the war battling it out in a no holds barred type battle.

If they reboot it, I wouldn't want the new series devoid of humans or entirely set on Cybertron. That would be too boring.

Instead, I would like it still set on Earth, but written in such a way that it isn't too human-centric. That was my major beef with the first movie, and I hope they don't resort to cheap sexual jokes either (like they did in the second,) because that to me feels like they weren't creative enough to write a real joke.

I'd like to see a faithful adaptation of G1 Season 1, with more focus on the TFs as characters. Instead of the monsters of the Michael Bay movies, they would be created through motion-capture like the aliens from Avatar. I'd love it if they got some relatively big names for the TFs' actors, like Will Smith as Jazz and Jim Carrey as Starscream. That would be awesome.

Jim Carrey? I don't think he would be a good Screamer. Too spazzy. How about Tom Kenny again? He did great in Animated.

Michael Dobson was a great Starscreeam voice actor. I have actually wished that he voiced Movie Starscream. But charlie Adler wasn't bad either.

Personally, I'd like to see a reboot. I would like it if they went with a more serious tone. I don't have a problem with there being humor in the movie, it's the kind of humor they used in ROTF. Dog humping, robot humping, fart jokes, the twins, balls on Devastator. It was all just too much imo. I was also extremely disappointed with the way they handled the Constructicons/Devastator in ROTF. I didn't care for the way they made multiple "drone" Constructicons. I was hoping they would actually have lines in the movie with personalities. I do realize there was a cost factor involved, but I just didn't care for it. The Constructicans were some of my favorites as a kid. And Devastator, while I liked his design was not very effective in battle. He couldn't even kill the Twins? Really? Oh well sorry for the rant. I'd just like another director with a new cast to take a shot at it.

It totaly needs a reboot! Don't get me wrong, the robot designs are cool but the silly humer has got to go. It has to have a sirius tone to it. And the characters of most of the robots have to be better. Like Starscream for example, he's a badass warrior not a hunchback of notradame egor character.

If there was a Reboot, it has to focus on the Autobots/Decepticons way more than the Humans, and the Ark has to be in it.

The question shouldn't be is Transformers going to get rebooted. The question should be when it get's rebooted. Avatar proved something. You can have a movie where the majority of the focus was on the computer generated characters, and if the story is solid and told well, people will watch it and give you their money over and over again. When the first TF movie came out, no one didn't really think that the audience would want to sit and watch a movie with nothing but CGI characters. Which is why there was so much focus on Sam and the military guys.

So I think when the reboot comes, we're going to either see a movie totally on Cybertron that's about the Autobot and Decepticon war, or it will still be on Earth, but the Transformers will be the main characters that time around with less focus on the human characters.

Batman needed a reboot badly after Joal Shumakker or however you spell it, Spiderman ddn't really need a reboot, they could have just made a sequal that made up for 3, transformers, as much as a mess as 2 was, even if 3 sucks, wouldn't neccisserily need a reboot, just a new director (one that maybe actualy likes transformers) for any future movies

That's very true, but Michael Bay said that after DOTM it will be clear that this is the last movie. So will a new director, one that maybe actually likes Transformers, want to follow what Bay created?
