yeah... but hex is shorter thsn MP10 anyways. so he's likely to be dwarfed by MP magnus anyways. hex isnt MP scale to begin with.

TF Source.
Stands approximately 33 cm/13 inches tall in robot mode and as shown cab and armor are connected, instead of being the trailer worn as armor! Includes metallic finished big gun, comic & a bio card! Note: Will be released and in-hand this month!

I see no problem with the 13 inch size. As it's 1980's TF toy accurate. 1984 Optimus was a deluxe sized toy in robot cab mode.1986 Ultra Magnus's combined toy was around 10 inches tall. So having this be bigger than MP-10 makes sense.
For those who own MP-01 & MP-05,This KCF Ultra Magnus scales perfectly with those toys.
The HasTak MP-10 is 9.5 inches tall. I'm willing to wager,That the HasTak Upcoming 2015 MP Ultra Magnus combined form will be at least 12 inches tall. The added boots, chest pieces & head, are bound to add 2-3 inches at minimal.
Love to see KFC do the Takara Diaclone Powered Convoy recolor using this mold. I'm sure HasTak plans to do a Powered Convoy recolor using the MP-22 mold.

Rated X wrote: The key word in "toy accurate" is "toy". Toy accuracy just represents the cold reality of 1980's budget and technology constraints. Most hardcore TF fans are too deep into the cartoon/comic fiction to appreciate the bizarre scales that were marketed to 1980's kids. They made no sense back then and they still don't today.

It is a shame that no one, except KFC it seems, is working with the scale that was initially set out with Mp-01.

They're all (KFC, X-Transbot, Unique Toys) rumored to be the same company. CHMS, at least they all share the same factory.
Explains a lot of the crappy stuff quality wise the put out.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Initially,I was looking forward to this being leader scale. It would have scaled nicely next to MP-10,MP-09,MP-08,MP-Seekers,MP-13,Hexatron,Quakewave. Leader scale toys from AEC,TFA,TFP-BH,Movie-verse. Rid 2001 Super size Ultra Magnus & Optimus.
I haven't a clue why KFC thought buyers would want this at the 13 inch size instead of the Leader Scale. Did KFC draw inspiration from Kronos being increased in Scale?
I don't think it's a total write off. I still love the Sculpt & Transformation. That's why I'm willing to buy one & give it as test try. If it's not good,Then I can always sell it on ebay.
I'm still holding out hope that the 13 inch size. Is one big Aprils fools day joke. Perhaps later in the day,KFC will reveal it's really 9.5 inches tall.

im not an advocate for this figure by any means, but too pricey? he'll be the cheaper of the two by (probably) a hundred bucks.
does anyone else think its odd we have every pic we need of this guy besides a full truck mode? what are they waiting for? i figured we would see both modes before a box shot....

Nope. funny thing is I remember KFC put this to a fan vote. and fans voted that they wanted this to be in-scale with MP-10 in ALT MODE. LOL now everyone's bitching about it being to big in BOT mode hahahahaha this thing such fail.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Is their any way fans can contact KFC & ask them to create a 2nd batch that has a robot mode that is 9.5 inches tall. I went on all the other forums yesterday & mostly everyones hates the 13 inch height.
It's a shame KFC jumped the gun & rushed this 13 inch version to production. They should hve waited a bit to see fans reactions to this increased scale. If they waited,They could have seen all the hate & returned it back to it's original 9-9.5 inch height.
Will this 13 inch version sell enough to not bankrupt KFC? Who knows,Will KFC listen to fans & create a 2nd batch that is smaller?
