Series 2 is now hitting Walmarts in Southern California. I stopped at one near my work on Sunday morning and found everything but the Nemesis Prime spoiler box. Later in the day, my partner found a single Netflix Wheeljack at the store closest to our home.

I bought Elita-One and canceled my Limbo-locked pre-order from summer. I also snagged the only Soundwave on the shelves. I want Red Alert for my WFC pseudo-Lambo collection, but the varying shades of white and cream (not to mention the random brown feet) are really hideous in person, and not in a fun "Shattered Glass Thundercracker" kind of way. I'm also digging the vintage toy-coloured Earthrise Optimus, but I'm not sure I'll like it better than the Siege versions I already have. I figure those two are likely to sit around for a while if I want to grab them later.

Luck was on my side today I found Soundwave . But Hasbro is STUPID !!!! Why would they make the case pack 2 Primes and 1 Soundwave ???

Because it's Optimus. He's the face of the brand, the one transformer the layman unfamiliar with the brand can recognize by both name and likeness. He is at minimum top 3 most popular transformer all time, and even that is overly hedging my bets; I'm willing to put money on top spot myself. This means that Optimus sells. Kids who love autobots need an optimus to lead them. Kids with the good taste to prefer decepticons need an optimus for megatron to repeatedly kill. And parents and relatives unfamiliar with the brand buying birthday or Christmas presents? They need a nice, safe, obvious choice on "Little Jimmy will like this one, right?" and optimus provides. Literally the only optimus I have ever seen last more than a few days on the shelves is the current commander sized cyberverse one, which I've seen about ten sitting in the aisle of the walmart near work for the past week, only to disappear overnight between yesterday and today, with only one on the shelf. With a case assortment intended for the last three months before christmas, then fortuitously pushed back to the last three weeks, the only surprise is that the assortment wasn't 3-1.

I was going to respond but too late in regards to how the case is broken down. One local Walmart basically had 3 sets, 2 sets on the shelf and 1 set still in the box. From looking at the box you can clearly tell, it is one of each.

Picked up Soundwave in Maine this morning so they're in the north-east. They had two of each including wave 1 which weren't there before. No Deluxes yet.

Earlier tonight I was removing the battlemasters from the Prime set bubble, and I had a really hard time taking them out, to the point of being afraid I would break them. I had to use a blade to pry them out gently. It took a while. I know Hasbro is trying to do away with ties to cut down on trash as well as materials used, but the little guys (and Prime as well) were in there so tight, it makes me wonder how many of them got broken when being forced in there.

@Rodimus Prime, funny you mentioned because I almost said something about removing them from the bubble a couple days back. It is a delicate process for sure especially for the battlemasters. For me, my OP head actually popped off when I was trying to pry him out of his spot. I don’t have Soundwave so not sure if that is the same case.
It is nice , not having the ties but you do need to be alittle careful when removing them from their bubble pack.

How much was your Bee? All the deluxe figures were $19.99 online but when I bought the five in store this past weekend I only paid $17.88 each.

£19.99 here (I waited for a price drop on cliff at around £14) but voyager judge was £19.99 (from £23.99). I'm not lucky or rich enough to have bought the imported stock that some websites were selling for £27+ for bee).
Elita seemed prenty plentiful along with the other deluxes but no Bees on the shelves.

New halo stuff out too by some company which so far has Scale!! - Which mcfarlane toys forgot existed sometime around the halo reach figures.

I had the same issues with the BM's for Megatron and Hotlink, thankfully they weren't known to be fragile (Like Soundbarrier). Also thanks for being careful with those

I had similar issues with SS Leadfoot, and with his accessories in particular. It was so difficult that I started to wonder how they got his weapons in the tray to begin with. :lol:

I'm looking forward to Kingdom doing away with plastic trays.

Soundswave was similar. Ravage and Laserbeak were in cassette mode, so they were actually easy to get out, but Soundwave's guns were near impossible.

After seeing the reports, I did a quick run to Walmart here in Fargo, ND over lunch, and sure enough the Netflix WFC Trilogy voyagers are now hitting the shelves. There were 4 of each when I arrived.

Finally wave 2 deluxes showed up in my area, got Elita-1 for my daughter. No sign of Voyagers yet but if they are in many places now, it will probably be another week or so. But that's ok. As soon as I get my shipment of Battlemasters, and hopefully BBTS will get Hothouse and Roritchi before the 31st, then I can end the year with my wanted list complete, then on to 2021s list

I finally spotted the Deluxes at a local Walmart here in MO. They had 4 of the 5, no Bumblebee. I went ahead and picked up Elita-1 and Impactor.
