New Transformers Animated Scans!

I wouldn't. The way they fracked up Prime is enough for me.

From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

I'll be honest... I like it. Do I love it? No. But I like it. It's definitely a welcome sight after years of anime crap that's been aimed at the kindergarten crowd. Is it shockingly different than what we are used to? Certainly! But then again so was Beast Wars. So is the movie (of course I seem to be one of the few that likes the Megatron design also...). Look, this animation style is darker, grittier, and more 'grown up', and it is exactly what Transformers needs. Unless they put Megatron in a pink balet dress, you can bet I'll be watching when this premiers.

I find that line highly disturbing. I'd like to think you're joking, but your post sounds serious so I'm not even gonna take your "anime crap" line seriously as well.
Next we'll find out Spongebob Square Pants is grown up. Yup, as Craig Ferguson said it'll be "Spongebob No-Pants".

I don't take that anime crap line seriously either. The stories mightn't have been the best but Japanese animation is the best that Transformers is going to get outside of Disney doing a hand animated movie, especially if it is done by Production IG or Kyoto Animation.
As for grown up Spongebob, have you not seen Spongebob Hemppants?

I just had flashes of this being the Loonitics: Unleashed on TF series in my mind & threw up in my mouth.

I disagree... i thought that the company that did Transformers the Movie 1986, was well done...
the best animation I have seen so far in any transformers series, was, Mainframe... they kicked ass!!!
whats sad is everything after that, the Armada, Energon, and Cybertron sagas all had crappy CGI model work...even Robot Masters DVD sucksass!!!its way too basic and kinda cheap.. but Beast Wars was great for its day.. and that company probably has improved by leaps and bounds over the years..I bet if they did another transformers series it would be fantastic!!!
But this cartoon series for Cartoon network, is really gonna be crap!!! look at all those stupid shows they have, with substandard animation..
My Gym partners a monkey?? Camp lazlo? El Tigre? Danny Phantom?
You can't count Ben 10, because Ben 10 is better animation then those above.. and those above is where they took the animation style.. which is worse then Ben 10 and Teen Titans!!!
Its worse then you realize!!!
When I was a kid we had, Gi joe, transformers G-1, He-man, She-Ra, M.A.S.K., the centurians, Silver Hawks,Gem and the holograms, and Thundercats..if you were younger, it was the Snorks, the Smurfs, Rainbow bright, Todays special..ect...ect..
Our shows always had a public service announcement about safety or trash pick up, ect.. ect.. "So Now you know, and Knowing is half the Battle!!!"
Any number of those shows were 1000 times better then that crap they are pushing out today!!

Statistics show that today's kids are dumber. Every time a show with thought provoking plot and material that is semi-mature comes out it gets canceled after a short run. Only stupid shows seem to last. It's not just cartoons either. Reality shows are thriving. We'll never have cartoons like the 80s Transformers or Batman the Animated Series ever again and it's a damn shame.

I don't think that the kids are actually dumber, its the studios and adults that produce these shows that percieve the kids as dumber then they were when they were children... plus its laziness on the studios part to not fight to keep shows that are more engaging on the air...its easier to release crap... and funny dumb crap.. then concentrate on a great story and great animation...plus its cheaper to release crap...

Actually you'll find that it's a kids attention span that's the problem.
Cartoons simply don't entertain them enough any more. Why sit watching a cartoon show when they could be playing a console game? It's way more interactive for them.
So really, regardless of whether they go for CN's buff up top look or Mainframe's computer animated style, and get a bunch of writers to write the most amazing TF story ever, it's still going to have a hard time competing with a video game.
Cartoons are slowly dieing. Not because of poor animation or crappy story lines, but because they just can't entertain a kid like a video game can.

Okay, I've been a transformers fan all my life. I've been coming to Seibertron for many years now for news and updates on the latest toys and shows. Only recently have i discovered the forums and have had mixed emotions about what I've found. There are several great points about it, but at the same time i often find myself aggravated by some comments and general negativity which surrounds a lot of the aspects of Transfan-dom. There are several threads like this one on the forum, but this one actually made me sign up to give my opinion.
No-one ever seems happy about new directions or designs. It's all "Waaah they're raping my childhood" or "Damned BAYFORMERS".
This is ONE IMAGE which i'll admit i don't like that much. That said, i've only seen one image, no animation or story concepts or anything. So unlike a lot of people, I'll wait to see those things before i start going "THEY'VE RUINED TRANSFORMERS, HASBRO R OUTZ OR THEIR MINDZ LOL!"
Maybe there's more posts or stuff that I've missed, maybe i'm not as informed as the rest of you. After reading several pages of complete negativity, with no real optimism i just skipped to the last few pages. If there's more out there than this image, please let me see it.
Jumping the gun seems to be the primary focus of the seibertron forums. Or is it just me?

Your so right Skywarp! They think that they can come up with anything and it will be a success! Its like they've forgotten what it takes to make a great show these days!

Kids are not dumber, but the TV exec's who green light the shows are. Not only that but they are taking their audience for granted. Kids are a lot smarter than people think. I chalk it up to a combination of lazinez, greed, and apathy. As for kids not having the attention span, I say kids still do. Anyone with kids will tell you how they will sit for hours watching their favorite cartoon dvd's over and over again. Plus back when I was a kid we had video games, ever hear of a little thing called the NES and Super Mario Bros? We had basically the same distractions but some how we were still able to find time for a 30min cartoon show.

I'd really like to know why everyone is assuming that this will be dumbed down pile of crap before seeing any actual evidence other than one image? We might all love it, who knows?! A naive attitude? Perhaps, but i love my hobby and try to stay as positive as i can about this new 'toon.
