But what's so premium about that Prime? All I see is a marginally different Siege Prime that doesn't match the one on the box. This had better not be that $50 Target-exclusive.

The on-package imagery shows him with correctly-colored blue windows.
Same with Bumblebee. He's a paler yellow than the brighter yellow on the packaging.

Siege Megs is number 00. he has the same deco as the netflix releases except the blades of his swordgun are silver now. He comes with the effect part from the cyberverse toy except its purple now.

Epsilon Delta wrote:Why the Siege OP mold? It may have been amazing when it came out enough for people to overlook the horrible cape and forearm fins, but once the Earthrise OP came out, it was soundly trounced. ER OP does everything the Siege OP did without the unsightly kibble and has a nicer vehicle mold. I took the cape off my spoiler pack Nemesis (it's a partsformers now, and I don't care). A premium finish can't help the mold unfortunately.
The Bee looks like a great concept, with the VW bug alt, gun, blade, and mask all in one figure... But it will probably be too expensive to justify it for me since I have the Netflix and clunker Bee.
But with the saturation of Buzzworthy Bumblebee in Targets and nothing else, and these characters being so overdone, and Prime not being the best mold, as well as so recent, I think if these don't sell well Hasbro will take the wrong message away. They will say "Transformers isn't as profitable because no one bought these" or they will say "Fans don't want premium finishes" or "fans really don't want Prime, so cancel that Armada Prime that we showed off for real." We don't want lazy repaints of recent molds that got released a bunch of times with a "premium" tacked on to inflate the price. Paint it right the first time. We do like Prime, he is a fan favorite, but it doesn't always have to be "G1" Prime, it's okay to branch out, especially after the phenomenal job that was ER OP (ER OP was really a dream come true for me personally. I don't mind playing with it with my 5yr old son, unlike MP-10). Also give us Titan Majin Zarak already.
We've received some details of the coming up Transformers Premium Finish (PF) Series. This will be the original Japanese series, by selective of characters from two popular series: "Studio Series" & "War for Cybertron". The PF will add original premium paint details to make it as close to the screen accurate as possible. The first two release will be SS Bumblebee from Bumblebee Movie & Optimus Prime from the Netflix WFC Trilogy. Premium Finish will start release in coming October and will have 2 characters release in each month until March 2022 which means total of 12 characters (6 each).
