That's what I like about all of this in particular.

lol CP.
Yes. It was available at Woolworths in the UK for £15, and was fairly common.tigertracks 24 wrote:I don't know, did that two pack ever make it to the UK at retail?
Fender Bender wrote:I have to ask this again, would there be all this drama if Thundercracker was released at retail instead of Ramjet?
Hasbro chose to only do 3 of the 6. Why they chose to go the way they did still doesn't make sense to me. They released 3 planes, 80% of the body's are the same between Ramjet and Starscream. Why release a remold when you could release a repaint, especially a highly desired one?
Plus, as a collector, I think the box set would have looked much nicer if Ramjet were in it to go with the rest of the coneheads.
So I don't blame Hasbro for not releasing all the seekers. I don't blame Fun Pub for releasing the rest as exclusives. I blame whoever it was that decided it would be a good idea to release Ramjet to retail rather than Thundercracker.

Nice conjecture!!! Skywarp was part of an exclusive set as well! Thus, not necessarily available to the whole public either. I don't know, did that two pack ever make it to the UK at retail?
Although Getter is right, one wonders where the lovers for the other two are when Cybertron, Titanium, Energon, and the movie are brought into the mix...I cannot deny that it is a good question, even if I know the answer is..."They are not meant to be the G1 representations of the characters! I do not need them to have my CLASSIC G1 collection to feel complete, like I do these because these are CLASSICs!"
Purely conjecture on my part as to how the other side may feel.

Even though I love my minicons, Delaware is a bit far to drive for a break and take...
UltraPrimal wrote: The reason why all the Henkei figures are different from their Classics versions is not because they're better. I personally think most of the Henkei color schemes are inferior to the Classics.
Nekoman wrote:I’m a little lost, but first, I agree with GD on all of his points, but what I want to say is what’s wrong with releasing them.
If they released the seekers everyone who bought the set would be gypped, all the money spent would be money wasted cause you could get them later. Second, it would mean they lied and would lose the trust of many fans like I myself. Hasbro never again could be trusted, it is Botcon exclusive and should stay just that.
I don’t own the Seekers, I would love to though, but if they were ever released where I could get them it would directly disrespect anyone who bought the sets, if anything they shouldn’t have been Botcon exclusives, but they are and the deal is done.
A blue Starscream I can live without.
Burn wrote:However I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see TT do it. The agreement as far as I know was between Fun Publications and Hasbro, no TT anywhere.
Of course I also believe that TT will show Hasbro respect and not release them under Henkei or any Japanese line. But I still wouldn't be surprised if they did release them, modified and different in some way to set them apart from the BotCon set.

And for the record, I never got the set, I had my whinge when it first went down, i'm now over it and I only hold animosity towards those who go "HAHAHAHA i'm better than you because I have the BotCon seekers and you don't!" attitude which I don't see on this site.

The Linkage Mini-Cons.
The WHAT? They're a set of Mini-Cons exclusive to Japanese Armada DVDs. If I had known better, I could have gotten them dirt cheap back in the day. I didn't know better. Now I have to pay far, far out the ass to get them.
