Hero Alpha wrote:I just use Super Megatron as my Megs. And if I really need Gun Megatron, the Siege one for bot mode and the Megs gun that came with Centurion weapon pack for alt mode. Problem solved for me. But For SS86 I would take an accurate robot mode with a tank alt mode.

I have G1 Wreck-Gar but I have no idea who would be his perfect rider. Ideally, it must be a G1 bot who would not only be able to ride, but would also fit the Junk theme.

Just finding a G1 figure with legs articulated enough to ride it would be rough. Even more so one of those that also looks kinda Junkionish. Maybe if u wanted to repaint a Motormaster? Off the top of my head. Also make the squared off spot where his head is a tv

Despite my dislike of the non-accurate colors in a few locations, this is a fantastic figure.
I will say the head joint is too tight, but the snug joints everywhere else are very welcomed.
Relatively speaking, it feels so so good to finally have this guy in my collection.
Based on looks alone, he's probably in my top 10 favorite Decepticon characters, and definitely in my top 10 mainline Decepticon figures.

Thread misfire?
Till-all-R1 wrote:As for SS86 versus Kingdom they're both in the $55 range as Leaders so I don't think it really matters which version to get to replace the worn out figure, though it does give SS86 the advantage since it will slightly differ in deco for 86 versus WFC?
Till-all-R1 wrote:Oh that's right, I forgot that they were going for soaking an extra $35 from a $50 mold somehow. lol
But hey, if it appeals to someone with endless funds to over pay, why not.

What? I haven't seen anyone claim this is a reissue a la Coronation Starscream, I was expecting something analogous to Kingdom Rodimus versus PotP Rodimus.
What makes you think it's going to have a cab robot figure with armor pieces that form a trailer, instead of being a single whole figure formed entirely by the cab and trailer together with no cab robot (like the Masterpiece or the Combiner Wars toys)?Till-all-R1 wrote:I am curious to see the final product and what exactly can possibly set it apart from a Leader Class or worth the boost in price. Not that's it's reuse of Kingdom Magnus, but even if it is all new mold for the cab it's still a Leader same as Prime. What makes him beefier as a bot is the trailer add on, which IMO doesn't warrant Commander Money. It's basically the same as Prime's trailer really, a shell. At least Rodimus Prime's trailer converts to a battle platform.
That said I will say Kingdom Magnus does seem a bit too short when next to OP. Though it's not exactly like he towers over OP either. IDK

Need to get a Grimlock, Sludge, and Slag. PM if you got a MISB for sale. Thanks.
Yep, I went to both my Target and Wal-Mart in search of Snarl and Target had Sludge while Wal-Mart still had Slag and a Grindor. They must have stumbled on a lost case in the back.Emerje wrote:Fortress_Maximus wrote:Dang the Studio 86 series is great! Makes me get back into collecting after quitting!

Sludge is still shipping to stores (seen him at both Walmart and Target in the past week) and he's on Amazon through several sellers for $53.
