I needed your picture because it worked with what I was asking. But hey, I got no replies and I need opinions. So as I said, if you are interested I welcome your opinions just as much, I got no replies from anyone but you and its the early bird that eats the worm. Worse case scenario, if you both want to write it, you can collaborate. Me and Scotty P collaborated on best Grimlocks and it went well, it wasnt that tough a list though since there arent that many good Grimlock molds out there.

Anyways, cram, I'll make it easy. Start making your list for best rodimus with a blurb saying why you love em and send it to me when you have a chance. If Rodimus wants to contribute, he can do the same, and I will unify it all.

Yeah, its quite affordable, all things considering. But its also apaprently not that great a toy.

It IS quite affordable.

I'd rather put that money towards Cloud Rodimus..although I do have Springer who is the same mold..curse you repaints!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll see if I can put some words into a blurb after the NEW MP Hot Rodimus gets here. Although I really think DX9 Carry would be ranked highly in the list too..

It's MP28 Hot Rod, and he needs an MP10 Optimus Prime to pass the Matrix to MP22 Ultra Magnus so that MP(doesn't exist) Galvatron can steal it via a MP(doesn't exist) Scourge/Sweep termination only to have MP28 Hot Rod take it back and turn in to MP09 Rodimus Prime (with a TINY Matrix)!!

No, you are missing the whole point about this figure. Hot Rod has space for the matrix, since he eventually takes the Prime mantle. But he doesnt have the matrix. He obviously needs the space for the matrix so that he can eventually become Rodimus but giving it to him would make him Rodimus. So a perfect Hot Rod toy would have space for the matrix, but no matrix to put it in so that he remains Hot Rod. Hot Rod can never come with a matrix, he needs Prime to give it to him.

Its pretty genius of Takara, turning the matrix in each individual's MP shelf as precious. Of course, you can just buy a Bape Convoy and get a second matrix

So the summary is, all in all, personal preference. "Hotrod DOES not appeal to me (well you and the others who are negatory) so I won't get him". That being said, that's already a strike down for wanting the product. Why continue with this slog in the first place then if y'all ain't gonna touch him with a 10 foot pole?

Just saying, all the negativity when the item hasn't even released.It's like raining on the parade of others who are so IN for the figure. Don't like it, well maybe avoid it?

You are not getting it. The whole point is that people who are on the fence will need to read a lot of other people's opinions inorder to make sure this toy is right for them or not. For instance, I read that Tracks wasnt that great, bt I should have read even more since nothign prepared me for my dissapointment in that mold. It doesnt even have a place to rest the head in robot mode!

So I would like for people to get Hot Rod in hand, share their opinions and I can then figure out better if this toy is worth it or not, since I cant form that opinion based on the pics.

About Tracks, if you read my posts about that mold, I too am very disappointed with the lack of neck locking mechanism (Tracks has a sort of lock, RR doesn't).

Kinda OCD (or cheap) of TT on being anime "accurate" beginning with MP UM to not include a Matrix. If it weren't for ebay, we'd all be forced to buy an MP-10 just to get one.
