Hi - We wanted to let you know that we have reduced our pricing on the Nemean figure from $139.99 to $129.99. We also wanted to mention that this figure is the largest of the group (similar to the SR-71 in Uranos) so it is priced higher than the rest. We expect the remaing four figures to be cheaper - hopefully in the $99.99 price range.
Thanks

So the limbs of Ares will be the same size as the limbs of Herc and Uranos and the same price then. Which is the same price as the limbs of Feral Rex but quite a bit smaller. Factor in MMC's early bird specials and what was already the better deal is even better againdaimchoc wrote:FYI:Hi - We wanted to let you know that we have reduced our pricing on the Nemean figure from $139.99 to $129.99. After seeing this, I'm liking the bulkier MMC version more TBH, with Leo Dux's legs extended that is.
I agree that we need to see a complete Ares to get the full effect, but that leg really does ruin it for me.rpetras wrote:Arctorro wrote:

I agree, the side by side sells MMC to me a lot more.
But, to be fair, the TFC combiner isn't complete.
I still prefer the guns, as well as the chest and waist detailing on TFC.
Plus being able to connect parts to Devy or Superion holds some appeal.
I want to see a true side by side for height.
Comparisons to figs I have, like Herc, would be great.
I just don't trust a photoshop for size comparisons.

Arctorro wrote:The photoshop comparison definitely can't be trusted, posted it more for the side by side look at the designs.

Arctorro wrote:They look nice, but if MMC weren't doing their own version, I'd be drooling over these. As it is, I'm still liking MMC's better.

Definitely more proportionally accurate to a real rhino, IMO.) But, MMC's feel like bad-@$$ bots that took their cues from animals, but are just bad-@$$. This was how I viewed the original G1 preds. They weren't trying to hide (RiD and all) as the individual bots. Instead, I always had the feeling that the Predacons wanted to instill fear into other bots, and used cues from what they thought were bad-@$$ animals. They just looked mean.

Wow - this is a fantastic way to put it.
