Anyhoo, is he worth it?

I think he is worth it, especially on sale.

Thanks! Although I'm gonna hold out for one more "Yes" until I'm sure. I like to get two opinions first before deciding.

Well, some have expressed grief over the QC issues and the exhausting amount of foil stickers (but then again, no one likes the foil stickers that have been used on all the TR figures anyway).Seibertron wrote:Who has said anything bad about Trypticon? It's a great figure. 'Nuff said.

It's quite loose and basically flops down when I have Full Tilt attached. Am I doing something wrong or is mine missing something? I don't see anything to tab in.

The top left (when facing Tryp) pops out about 1 cm. You must be a mind reader. My next question was if anyone tried using a blowdryer to fix the warp. I may give it a try, thanks!

nycPrime wrote:Agreed that Trypticon is awesome. The only issue mine had was the warped chest. But with the banged up box, I opted to get a replacement. Thankfully the hips were not an issue.

Only the knees were fixed, the warped door is also found on the later versions too, that was never fixed.
Emerje wrote:That would be enough (though I'm pretty sure some people reported getting an OK door on the latest version), but the earliest version doesn't have the little nubs on the door to help keep it closed (if you can get the door to flatten). That's the version I want to avoid the most.

I think you might be mixing up your nubs. I think it is the tail ramp that was missing the nubs on some versions, not the chest door. Although, who really knows.
I think I had one of the earliest lot numbers and I had both tail numbs and chest numbs.
(Okay, that last sentence sounds weird)
