From the Hasbro breakfast event at SDCC, we have the Target exclusives for the Bumblebee film. The idea with this film is the retro look and to go with that theme, Hasbro is releasng Titans Return Soundwave again with the boom box resembling Kanye's glasses. The big news though for fans is that this is the way Hasbro is releasing Titans Return Frenzy (aka the blue casette). These are two sets of exclusives. One will be simply Soundwave while the other will be three casettes and a one step Bumblebee.

Also on the show floor were all the Bumblebee move toys we had previously seen in the review earlier this week. We get a better idea of their size here. The idea behind this movie line, this time, is that it is 100% targetted towards kids. Most center around the igniter gimick where you can plug in an allspark like device. Any traditional transformer toy aimed at collectors will be relegated to the Studio Series line. Since there are only a few robots in the movie, the Bumblebee toy line will be filled with characters who may not appear in the film, like Megatron in his ROTF body. There are other products as well such as a mask and other role playing items.

The San Diego news stream continues, and this time around we have our official galleries from the Hasbro breakfast showcase event. This gallery is specifically of the Target exclusive subline from the Bumblebee Movie, which includes a strange collection of figures, from Titans Return Soundwave and his cassettes all in new decks, to a bumblebee remold of the Age Of Extinction Drift One Step Changer.

Between this subline and the inclusion of rare G1 cassette bots in this year's bumblebee SDCC exclusive set, it makes you wonder about the importance of Cassette tapes in the upcoming film!

From the official social media account for Hasbro Pulse we have some more official images for today's releases - specifically, we're looking at the Transformers Bumblebee movie products, starting with the BeeVision Bumblebee mask!

Featuring Bluetooth technology integration, sounds and speakers, and voice activation and more, the mask is already available at San Diego Comic Con 2018, and will soon be on online retailers too, including the Hasbro Toy Shop. Check them out and let us know what you think below.

You might be surprised to hear this but my #1 want for this line is that big talking bee. IMO much better looking than the SS deluxe as I can tell. He'll be a perfect match for my HFTD Battle Ops Bee.

The lost potential in these TR retools/redecos annoys me. I'm sure there's reasons why they released these figures in these colors but oh well.

Soundwave could easily have been Soundblaster. That would've given even more reason than some retooled parts to go in on this mold again.

Rumble,...er I guess Frenzy since TR Rumble is red, is nice and all but I've already made my peace with not getting the pair being the same mold for TR and went out and got the United two pack. The Toyhax label sets look great but they weren't cutting it for me for the blue guy.

It's awesome that we're getting a new Buzzsaw so I can get that Sundor upgrade for CW Buzzsaw. However...

Howlback. It's great to see her but it's a shame that Buzzsaw wasn't done in blue to be Garboil. All three would then be blue and it would be an expanded Cobalt Senteries set.

Now will there also be some Autobots equivalents to go with these Decepticons?

I'd love to see a Twincast instead of another Blaster if that's the case.

As with Rumble and Frenzy, I got the TFSS Eject and Rewind since the Toyhax set wasn't working for me with Eject either. They're fine for Enemy, Code Red, Flipsides and Dispensor though.

Will we see Garboil in this theoretical set to go with Howlback or would it be Sundor or Blockrock instead?

Then who else? Glit? Nightprowler? Blackcat?

Rumble is always the red one. The G1 cartoon screwed a lot of stuff up. You can't go by that.

I Ironically don't have the "red tape" because I thought he'd turn up in Legends and was holding out for that version. It never happened and the Hasbro version was never in good supply here so I missed my window. I might have to sell a kidney to pick one up to complete the pair. Kinda happy I never got CW Buzzsaw, this one should look good with my Japanese version. But we complete one pairing and now we need a blue Lazerbeak to get the Cobalt Sentries.

Rumble is the only one I'm interested in. Hopefully I won't have to buy the entire pack just for him. And since we got Rewind, it would be nice if we got Eject, but that probably won't happen since he doesn't have a character in fiction to support the toy.

I'm super liking those Energon Ignitor toys. The new legion guys rock! I will definitely get the little dudes.

The SS Bee looks pretty sweet too, and he has the optional mask!

Kinda sad the 77 camaro Bee comes with Charlie. I already have him, and I wouldn't mind an actual Charlie figure to go with Bee.

That big Bee looks super good still, wow
