It'll be expensive, it'll be a hassle, it'll be TFCC. All those things is bad, mmmkay?
Bad.

gavinfuzzy wrote:Hmm... so this would be like the magazine subscription but you get toys instead of magazines? Seems like a cool idea. Also, the fact that they allow 1 month subscription means that you can subscribe for that 1 toy and not buy the whole damn set for a year just to get 1 you like.
So, does this require existing membership? Or can you just sub for the toys without the magazines (I only subbed this year for Runamuck).
I'm interested in Breakdown, Slipstream and Scourge. Hopefully they don't cost more than $35US a piece... since I expect these to roll out in the white mailer box and not the classy black collector box.
Kung Fu Man wrote:I'll be doing this, but only for Slipstream, Breakdown and possibly Circuit. For those of you wanting the others...whatever this costs, divide that by six and that's what I'll be selling those three at here at the forums. I'd rather help people that way if I at least can.

The toy subscription lasts for 3-4 months each time. So I guess you can just subscribe for that 2 toys.

Um no... Subscribtion for toys last 3-4 weeks, my guess is you can subscribe for only the toys that you like.

I don't mean this in a suspicious way, just in a clarifying way but did the club say that for sure, or are you speculating?

And it states on this article "sign-up period that will last 3 or 4 weeks".
Does it mean that membership lasts for 3-4 weeks a a time? If it means I have to pay for the whole year and get all the toys...

Taking that literally, I interpret that as being a period of 3-4 weeks in which you can START the subscription, ie. you can't start halfway through.

Diem is right. If you subscribe it's for all six figures. You can pay all at once or in installments of 3 payments. They did say that there would be an opportunity to buy individual figures but those would be at a higher price point individually than the cost of the figures in the sub.

Okay.
Obviously the people attending Botcon (the official convention of the brand's unintended market) will acquiesce during this "round table" q&a session with Fun Publications Inc. But, how is there not one humble considerate question or remark about the on-going investigation or even about the incomplete (semi?) functionality of the website? Do these Bot-convention attendees realize that all current members still have no access to the archives or forums? Man, it's one thing to be compromised, but it's another to bask in that position.
