As for which one I hope gets released, if not both, I would want it to be Exhaust, if only because we don't have a Classics/Generations style Exhaust yet. We do have the old BotCon Slicer from the Energon Downshift mold, which is a pretty decent representation of the character, being that it was already a pretty decent representation of G1 Wheeljack.
I went and checked the listings I was talking about now that it isn't stupid late at night, and given they were found in the Toysrus system with SKU's, plus a decent amount of them were figures we predicted anyway (Coneheads, Greasepit and Hot House), I'm kinda just assuming they'll be correct? I totally understand being skeptical though, since there have been listings for what turned out to be cancelled figures in the past, most recently those last two Titan Masters.
I'm also operating under the assumption that Earthrise will be at least 4 Waves (given the numbering of Doublecrosser sticking out, the length of Siege, and the amount of figures left from listings and assumptions (Inferno) that all need places in the line), and that Exhaust, Greasepit, and Thrust from those listings will be in said Wave 4 since they aren't listed as Selects (and Thrust and Greasepit both will need more unique tooling than Selects provides). Hasbro has been avoiding putting direct repaints in the main retail lineup (the closest we got was Thundercracker, who had a new head still), so Slicer would have to be an exclusive/Selects of some sort anyway, whereas Exhaust at least should have a different head sculpt and new alt mode tampos, in addition to just different paint and hopefully a unique weapon, making him the equivalent of Siege Barricade in terms of how I think he'd be handled.
I admit I am more excited about the possibility of Exhaust than Slicer, which may be skewing my logic, but I would absolutely buy both anyway.
