I opened up Hun-Gurrr, and am enjoying his double dragons.
Hellscream9999 wrote:That's not exactly accurate, we've had toy fairs where they 'reveal' stuff that's out already, it doesn't usually go over well. Wave 3 had to be partially revealed as wave 2 is apparently chilling out in spades here in the state's (though I have to see any of them...) so revealing figures that have video reviews all over the internet, not really a great idea
william-james88 wrote:You yourself are making many assumptions too by stating the opposite. Hasbro gave us all the details so there is nothing for any of us to assume. They were very clear. POTP is ending this year, we will get the first toys for the next line Januray 2019 (so they will be in stores this december). There will be exclusives this year that they are not revealing yet and we know for a fact that those exclusives are part of POTP. And they will reuse previous molds in their next trilogy.
So right there, they have not revealed everything, there are exclusives left, but there wont be a 5th wave either. And any toy you didnt get this year can still come out between 2019 and 2021.

They still use Rogers and Cowan for PR. We were in contact with them today about official images.

You know, once we have Sinnertwin we can star doing the double double dragons. And I think I mentioned, Moonracer isn't as bad a toy as I thought. Her vehicle mode is kind of hotdog like to me, but as a limb, she is going to be awesome.

I was also fortunate the Chaos on Velocitron popped up at my TRU -- I never got the second one, since I could only find it online...

You forget, revision waves, endless shelf clogging revision waves.

If it werent for revision waves, many fans wouldnt have Kup, nor the shortpacked Quake and Krok.

Very true, but you could also say that the revision waves prevented many people from getting wave 5 as well since the stores stocked up on the revision waves before wave 5 was available (if wave 5 ever was truly available).

If you are changing it, every year, there's really no time to form any attachment, and no reason to *like* anything today, because you know it will most likely be gone tomorrow.

John Warden said there wont necesarily be an ecosystem so its just us getting more gen toys at least until 2021. They will be released and revealed ina similar schedule to what we are accustomed to. The lines being shorter dont really make any difference for us.

So, do you believe that the new Fall of Cybertron Trilogy toys will have generally the same look and feel as the Prime Wars Trilogy?
william-james88 wrote:It was confirmed that some toys we are getting are reusing existing molds and tooling so of course they will have the same look and feel.
Also, it's War for Cybertron Trilogy.

That's just sad. Optimus and Rodimus didn't have similar images, did they?
