Interesting. I've got the Takara Transformers Legends release of Chromedome, so I can't check mine out for that. When next I do a hunt through Walgreens for Power of the Primes Wreck-Gar, though, I'll keep a look out for some of the shelf-warming Hasbro Titans Return Chromedomes and see if I can spot one like you've described.

...speaking of Walgreens, it looks like they removed their Wreck-Gar listing from their site? It won't show up in search results, and following the old direct link to the page from my history takes me to a page that says the listing no longer exists.

I got a really recent one: my Special Edition Prime Master Megatronus that came with Blast Off. The right upper arm to the elbow is dark grey, but the rest of the grey paint used on the figure is all the lighter shade.

Chances are the listing was just added too early is all. I fully expect Wreck Gar to come to the states

I just got my Takara Starscream. Is it normal that his right optics are slightly smaller? Was Takara/Hb trying to implement the classic "smirk" but somewhere down the line it fell through?

Most likely they removed it because of the complaints from people getting angry over not being able to find it in stores when the website says it's in stock.

Yeah, both of those took forever to come out, and EB Games canada did get the clones first. So I guess this is just same old same old with walgreens and they will probably be part of their holiday stock as was the case with the clones, which only appeared in November.

I don't know if I'll hunt down Wreck-Gar, but I hope those hunting Novastar get her and the remaining Terrorcons! I have now seen wave4 once at Walmart....and the wave3 Prime Masters have yet to reappear at Target.

Bad news, the $29.99 Takara release is sold out (and has been for weeks). The even greater bad news, no preorder for Novastar singles from BBTS, so $69.99 for Slug, Blackwing, Rippersnapper, and Novastar... (Amazon still has a couple Novastars listed for $49.99 plus shipping from third party sellers.)

I went ahead and ordered the assortment. If I find her in the wild... If not, my son might like the extras...up until he wants to complete the gestalts...

Sorry, but I don't do those sorts of things. (In fact, I feel guilty cancelling the pre-order if I find Novastar somewhere else. It's just a personality quirk I have.) I may sit on the extra figures for a time and see if I can sell them. I have a large number of in-package figures from the last 15 years or so that I am sitting on. Just need to get going with eBay or Amazon or something...

I have no issues doing those sorts of things lol. But only once in a while. No problems ordering 2 of something for free shipping and then return 1 in store.

Serious questions guys, if soneone gives you a toy you already have as present, you would not go to a department store and ask if you could exchange it for one you dont have yet? Dont know if you yanks have this sort of thing, but Toysrus in Canada has a return policy specifically for exchanges concerning gifts with no accompanying receipt. Nothing really shady there.

Of course and around the holidays stores tend to print a gift receipt. And if not try and hit the store it came from. They give you credit and send the unopened toy back to the shelves. Most stores will accept exchanges without receipts if the item is in their system. Walmart takes all your personal info in these cases. Probably to track how often you do this

From what I've heard from you, US retailers sound a lot less consumer friendly than in Canada though.

Got it from Changi Airport's transit area toy shop.

This particular one, however, was found in the transit area of Changi Airport, in Singapore.
