I'm either gonna expect some Reissues from Power of the Primes:
1. Superion (Except Alpha Bravo)
2. Bruticus? (hoping its the Takara version since HB Blast off is a total mess)
3. Menasor (Probably)
4. Defensor (i hope)
5. Computron (i just wish the Takara version too )

If he had won that fan-vote, we'd be overjoyed right about now.
But he didn't, so we're just gonna have to keep our fingers crossed and our hopes up!

I can tell you right now that's not gonna happen. That's what Combiner Wars was for. They're making NEW combiners in PotP (that is, old combiners that weren't remade in CW). So only combiners we haven't seen in CW yet. You've seen the leaks, haven't you?
If you want the Takara Unite Warriors versions, then get those. I'm in the NL, and I managed to get all combiners I wanted, and I was late to the party. Didn't even pay too much for them. I payed normal to good prices, and they were either new in unopened boxes, or opened, but brand new.
Just don't wait for PotP to reissue CW combiners.

With two s in a row, I'd be surprised if the next Titan isn't Omega Supreme or another Autobot. Though I'm not sure which Autobot would be a valid candidate besides Omega. Giant Bumblebee?

I think Omega Supreme should be made "eventually" but since he's a potential line killer - he needs to be done after Scorponok so Scorpy isn't endangered in his release.

I also really want a Metrotitan still (with new weapon accessories/ robot companions, new knees and a Micromaster) - I think the best way to handle that is to link it to a Metroplex reissue so they come out around the same time.

Perhaps they can improve Metroplex a little bit too - like make his joints stronger and fix those darn knees. (add a knee rotation so he can actually transform properly) and perhaps a ramp extender.

Actually, I'm afraid the re-issues of Chromedome, Jetfire, Megatron and Fortress Maximus were cancelled. You might wanna look into other avenues for Jetfire -- I've heard he's not terribly hard to come by on Ebay.

Yes I know about the Japanese Metroplex - I just feel that if he was re-issued in North America that might be my only hope of they making some mould changes to make him transform properly if said mould changes can then be used on Metro Titan too.

I know Metro Titan is obscure as heck - but I just like the idea of having another Decepticon city specifically targeted for use with Micromasters - which is why I was suggesting some small mould changes to do that - and then use some of them on a Metroplex reissue too.

Because Unicron is smaller and far more popular. Saying the same thing in a different way: he doesnt take as much shelfspace and is the main antagonist of the 86 film.

Metroplex shelfwarmed at Costco, he really doesnt have much of appeal. I would even argue that globally of all the Titans class Tfs we have gotten so far, Metroplex probably sold the worst and was the least popular.

Why would Omega be a line killer? Sure, he didn't win the poll, but neither did Scorponok and has way more going in his favor. He appeared regularly throughout most of the G1 cartoon, even getting an episode to himself. He has a play feature that's unique to him, breaking down into three components (I doubt he'll have his electronics, though). And he's the perfect compliment to Devastator, since they were often on-screen rivals and not being a city he can be made the same size.

Plus I think he fits Power of the Primes better than Scorponok since he isn't a Headmaster and it makes more sense to me to stick a little Prime Master in his chest than Scorponok's.

Omega Supreme got the least amount of votes in the poll. That tells me that he isn't very popular. We also have no idea what the current generation of kids, especially ones who've very likely never seen the G1 cartoon, will think of G1 Omega.

Also, I'll be honest, I actually don't really like Omega Supreme at all. I'm actually not the biggest fan of pre-movie G1 overall, to be even more honest.

Among those that voted. Those that voted make up what, like 30% of peole who buy TFs? The poll is just a marketing way to interact with fans but it by no means determines what is happening next. Proof is that we are getting Preadaking, which hasbro didnt even make a poll for.

Fans arent the ones bringing in the majority of the Hasbro's revenue. They do however make up a decent portion (30%) so they should still be catered to in some way (or at least the alusion to catering to): enter the fan polls.

We are also forgetting on very important part. The poll was to know who fans wanted next, not who they didnt want to ever see. If there was a choice D which went like "I dont care, release them all and I will buy em", which answer do you think would win?

There's other reasons too. People just in general might like Decepticons more than Autobots, they might figure the citybots 'deserve' to be Titans first... and most of all, Trypticon's a counterpart to Metroplex while Scorponok's a counterpart to Fortress Maximus which I'm pretty sure we knew was coming at the time of the poll. This wasn't a character popularity poll -- there were other factors at play.

Yea I think Omega would sell better. Collectors would buy both. Casual fans are more likely to buy a giant spaceship they may have seen in g1 episodes versus a giant spider they probably have no idea about.

And Omega's a counterpart to Devastator.

You're right that we knew of Fort Max coming at the time of the poll, which means that all three choices were counterparts to preexisting/known Titan class toys.

Scorponok is better in every possible way than a 1950's space rocket and a toy tank on a train track is.

"except" where they really sell the train track part and turn the whole thing into a modern trainset and have the tank still motorised - then i'd buy the heck out of it.

I'm OK with an Omega Supreme based on the Animated one and it's not that I hate it - I just think it's risky compared to a giant robot scorpion that is matched up to an existing toy and also is another giant robot animal for the collection following the Predacons.

I can see the POTP feature working fine in Scorpy's arm shield or Omega's chest / tank / rocket. and perhaps it might even suit Omega more than Scorponok who really is better served by being a Titans Returns inspired release.

So lets say there is a spare year for a Titan sometime in the next 3 years I still think it's to risky to release Omega Supreme first and have him shelf warm and if they made him not much bigger than the original but gave him a ton of train tracks then he's interest me that way but he might be seen as pointless to others if he was not bigger than a CW combiner.

I don't really see Devastator as a rival to Omega Supreme - as the vast number of times I've seen Devastator he's usually on his own. I can't really see Predaking vs Omega as a think either though.

On the positive side though if they make Omega then maybe I might get a guardian robot out of it - and if he's made now then that adds to the excuse to make him easily headless as some sort of Titanmaster related feature.

But what would the the Play feature of Omega be... I feel it's the rocket and the train tracks so I'd rather Hasbro made him the centerpiece of a Micromaster line than just release him randomly.

The got the idea right with Trypticon by making a joke out of him eating things.

But speaking selfishly I'd like Scorponok 1st. He'd expand the base forms that already exist match the existing Titanmasters (and be their leader) and line up to Fort Max. He can also justify having ramp connections to the Prime Trilogy toys if he's released sometime before 2020.

Perhaps and idea with Omega is to put him in the new cartoon and make a toy out of that version.

I prefer the repaint.

That's because Devastator came first. He got more exposure on his own before Omega came along. And when he did, the cartoon did a whole episode devoted to the personal antagonism between Omega and Devastator in "The Secret of Omega Supreme".
