The lower price point is a little concerning, because it would imply they cheaped out somewhere to lower it. Smaller molds, less paint apps, less complex, etc. The Brawl and Megatron we've seen so far didn't seem very simplistic, so I'm going to assume the sizes shrunk AGAIN, but maybe they'll surprise me.

I looked more into it and I think we are in the clear for it being the normal sizes we are used to. My comparison to previous listings was to the MB line and that line has a waaaay higher SRP. Which is odd since I bought Voyager Megs and Soundwave from the MB line for the same price as Voyager LG Lio Convoy. But the voyagers are priced the same as the voyagers in Takara's TLK line and the leaders are priced the same as the SRP for the standard TLK leaders in Japan (like Dragonstorm) so its basically the same quality as TLK that we can expect.
I changed my article accordingly.

IF Hasbro release them. It’s not like they always follow what Takara does and vise versa
We already know Hasbro is releasing them, from other leaks and such.
And and we were suppose to get two more box sets from titans return and the final wave of animated was always gonna find release or the final line of dark of the moon would get put out.
I’ll wait and see. Things change and leaks aren’t always true.
Remember the leak about the beast wars box sets someone who claimed to work at amazon and “saw everything” like Optimus form apeface and Megatron from snapdragon only for POTP to reveal none of that was true because the headmaster gimmick has been replaced by combiners again. God that was an amazing amount of trolling.
Ok but... we've literally seen images of the packaging style for the Hasbro side of this line. That's how we know, at least for the Hasbro releases, that they'll come with display bases and backgrounds. This isn't some baseless rumor.

The tiny blurry image makes the chest look weird, but the seemingly more compact back kibble is interesting and the tire is now behind his leg instead of on the side of his hip which isn't very accurate. It could be a good figure, but I can't see it being better than the BB version.
Well the numbering is a little clear now.
Wave 1
Deluxe 01(?) Bumblebee (TF6Stryker2), 02(?) Stinger, 03(?) Ratchet, 04(?) Crowbar
Voyager 05 Optimus Prime, 06 Starscream
Leader 07(?) Grimlock
But then wave 2 gets confusing because in order to get to 12 and 13 they'd have to re-number Bee and Stinger in their re-release which is a very strange way of doing things. Bee has the same product ID of E0739 so it seems like it'll be an identical figure, as opposed to Starscream who's two figures start with E0 and E1 from what can be seen in the old leak to indicate the TF1 and TF2 versions. Maybe those two figures will be replaced in the final lineup with two other figures, they're the only ones being released twice in the series that we know of with no changes.

Numbers 09, 10 and 11 are unaccounted for, but two of them will be taken up by the Wave 2 Deluxes Jazz and Lockdown. The final one is most likely sole the Wave 2 Leader, or a Wave 3 Voyager that's released out of order.

Again, 08 is Blackout.
Releasing items out of sequence is nothing new. The T30 line had that with Crosscut 016, with Tankor 015 and Rattrap 017 released a wave prior.

Prime Target wrote:C'mon Hasbro where's Primes Face takersThat megs looks good but they'll have to do a lot more for Starscream if they want to make him better than the DOTM deluxe and the ROTF Voyager and they'll also need to Skywarp and Thundercracker him.
Emerje wrote:I guess that might be the case then if Hasbro and Takara Tomy are sharing packaging. Though I'm not entirely convinced they'll be doing the wave 2 Deluxe after having just done Jazz and Lockdown in the MB line in February. That might mean renumbering the line in Japan after Grimlock.
