And yeah, Dinopope is my guess for the Dinobot combiner. But please don't let them combine on screen. Unless there's a Decepticon combiner, in which case we can have a combiner fight.

This movie is already ultra stuffed as it is, pretty sure we wont have any combiners, especially when all sources state Onslaught is the only combaticon in the film and thatthe only Dinobot with "major" screen presence is Grimlock.
These toys are just easy exclusives to give to stores. With AOE, almost all exclusives were just redecos of previous toys.

Is he even a "Combaticon" for certain in the film?william-james88 wrote:Insurgent wrote:This is the third time today I've read the guess who's back song on various websites. Heh. Guess someone's making a comeback.

Like, I mean, Brawl was in the first movie but not as a Combaticon. Nor was Bonecrusher a Constructicon.

He isnt labeled as a combaticon, I was just using that word forus here in the context that the moveonly had one member of a team we know tocombine in different media.

Well the recent movie toy lists(TRU & UK) suggests that we ARE getting a combiner(of which one of the dinobots are included in. as a 6th figure) so my guess is that at LEAST in toy form we'll prob get a mini dinobot combiner, as for Onslaught moviewise we'll prob only see him & not his Combaticon buddies, but toywise...it's possible we could get all the Combaticons...and maybe they could combine(but don't quote me on that though!) coz remember...in the previous tf movie toylines we've had figures that never appeared in the films(Stratosphere, Air Raid to name but a few).

I'm fine if there are no combiners and it's just exclusive toys like the last. To be honest, I wasn't following the AOE toys that closely. Lockdown, Galvatron and the onscreen dinobots were all I got.

It doesnt say that. The listing says, 5 part combiner with slug, which could mean that slug is the main part of the 5 part combiner. ust like in combiner wars when we look at the custom combinations we made and we say we made a 5 member combiner with skylynx. Skylynx is not a 6th member, he`s the torso, we just identify the combiner as being done with skylynx sicne he is the main bot.

Thats too bad because the better toys happened to be the autobots this time around, with Hound and Evasion Mode Prime. Although I do like Galvatron for what they were trying to do and convey.

Oh yeah. Forgot I had evasion mode prime. Actually, I got him twice. The original release and the twin pack with classics Prime. Ha! Can't believe I forgot them, they are sweet figures.
As for Hound... The only time I saw him on shelf was long after the movie had been and gone (wave 2 voyagers were really, really late at getting released) and my mate got the last one. Which I was fine with because that was the day I picked up Galvatron. That reminds me, Galvatron is on my customise list.

No, because the rumours containing the beast combiners (ex Abonomus and Predaking) were just for the generations line.

To play devil's advocate (I don't believe the rumoured beast combiners are part of TLK either), wasn't AOE part of Generations?

Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

Wait until the retail version is shown before getting too excited.
The symmetric wheels are also a little strange. The arm almost looks like he stole it from someone else, especially with that huge gun on it.
