I'll be happy if he's a Titan Master and on a Copter changing to a Car vehicle for him, and just adding them for Overlord's "well-you-know" gimmick

Broadside never had a consistent look at anytime, even in the cartoon.
That's where he came from. The UK-original Marvel Comics.LE0KING wrote:ebo716 wrote:One thing I think I will do when all of the deception triple changers come out is recreate this scene from target 2006

Ah so the new broadside toy is 100% accurate then.

That's very cool, xxaron seems interesting too. So are these comics related to the 80s cartoon? As in are they enjoyable without having seen the G1 show? Also are they as corny and poorly written as the show?

Of course I'm dealing with a slight middleman situation here so I can't be too certain of anything (the guy I talk to is an employee, who forwards info from me to the boss and then from them back to me), but best as I can tell there aren't any retailers locked in for Australia yet. Now that doesn't mean they're not coming to Australia - I'm so ready to be patient - but like they say, "no news is still news".

But...
If those were on display then how could the sets have not been mentioned?

You misunderstood everything I said in that quote. Nearly all of the Transformers in that show WERE human, so having a human Transformer leading other human Transformers was NOT inappropriate.RAR wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Considering that 95% of the Cybertrons in Masterforce were all human in some form (either naturally or supernaturally), having a Human Transformer leading other Human Transformers doesn't sound that far of a stretch.
Yeah that is the part I have a problem with - in a way it's the same criticism that people make about the Live Action Movies that the actual Characters are sidelined in their own show - it really is pretty ridiculous for a superior alien race to be taking orders from puny flesh creatures (the few that are in the show that are not actually just puny flesh creatures themselves), I guess I was happier with the hole "Headmaster concept" if done with Aliens instead.
But luckily I'm also a Star trek fan so i'm used to wacky alternative universes so I just file much of Japans output under 'zany'.

It was nothing like how it is in the movies. In the movies, there is a clear distinction between the Transformers and the human beings. In Masterforce, that distinction is thrown to the wind since one of the entire points of that show was how humans and Transformers could be the same species.

Wait, what?
RAR wrote:Wolfman Jake wrote:Wait, what?
I take it you either have not seen The last part of Beast Machines or long since forgotten it. He's quite crazy in that show - poor Ol' Cheetor was loosing his fur over his antics.
