It was nothing like how it is in the movies. In the movies, there is a clear distinction between the Transformers and the human beings. In Masterforce, that distinction is thrown to the wind since one of the entire points of that show was how humans and Transformers could be the same species.

I am saying I think Masterforce is a bit weird as it has Human Transformers at all - effectively making most of the characters in the show (and the bad guys) Human in a show that was previously making a point that they were "Super Life Form Transformers" is daft as really all they did was make a Gundam or Sentai Knock off out of it - and so therefore harm it's unique selling point. especially when the Transformers are just suits.
So they are the centre of the show - and as such lord it over any few non-master Transformers that do feature in the show.
The effect of which is the same as the Movies "sidelining" of the title characters for a bunch of human usurpers. But this is a problem more with the Japanese Continuity that I understand as they have this weird fetish as seeing robots as slave to human will and not as alien life forms in their own right (they needed a Gort really or something else to set them up a context to build on that didn't lead to all so many Japanese robots being driven) - I prefer that the unique aspect of Transformers isn't overly undermined.
But it's a mute point anyway as I don't object to the Japanese continuity being Japanese anymore than I do to the UK marvel Comics one.
There are just certain things in Transformers taken as a whole I prefer over other takes on the same thing. I guess I tend to cherry pick to make my own head canon (lockdown pun intentional).
So anyway the point I was trying to make is that I consider "Superlife form Transformers" to be a core element of the brand and adding to many Aliens (I would include Humans in that category) isn't always helpful. it's to easy to get into the bizarre situation you see in Transformers Cybertron when you have a pre-pubescent kid giving giant robots orders. But it's a cartoon trope one has to just put up with - or choose to not watch the shows I guess.
But anyway Masterforce isn't actually compatible with Western coninuity in any reasonable way anyhow - due to the way it sees Transformers working being incompatible with the post-Beast Wars / Post Aligned established backstory and mythologies.
To allow a Human to be LITERALLY a Transformers and not just someone larping as one (like Silas was) is a form of religious heresy and is likely one of the many reasons Megatron wasn't a fan - and it's also one damn good reason why Galvatron wouldn't go anywhere near an partially Organic headmaster (which Titanmasters don't seem to be anwyay).
But we are getting into some very elaborate topics here about history, and destiny and the role of the organic in cybernetic evolution (or some might say devolution leading to total species collapse).
Anyway no offence was intended ; I was just making a point about sidelining of Transformers in their own franchise and skirting around the idea of if Humans are a positive or negative influence on them.
