So fiddled around with Devastator, my gift for Christmas this year as well as a Star Wars Rogue One Orson Krennic 3.75" figure, and I decided to do a group shot with Deva and my Generations Decepticons.

A friend said "Looks like you've gone to the wrong neighborhood" and I agreed with him. Very happy though even though I didn't get the Takara version. One minor issue is the swivel on one hand to change it to the rocket launcher mode doesn't sit tightly like it does for the other hand. It keeps popping out and I have to hinge it back in. So it's why the big gun is in the other hand in the picture. I don't know how to fix that per se other than maybe trying to heat up the plastic and push it back together with a vice grip or so. Any tips there would be appreciated if anybody knows how to fix it.

Oh, Canada's Boxing Day, the day after Xmass where there are INCREDIBLE SALES everywhere!

So, here's my Transformers Boxing Day haul:

I walked in the freezing rain all day to find out that there is absolutely NOT A SINGLE Transformers on sale anywhere. Even Toys R Us.

In fact, Boxing Day is a scam because the little there is on sale, the sale is no better than usual. In fact, some things on "sale" are even MORE expensive on the 26th than the 23rd!

Well, I did find ONE thing. But that's it.

I got Victorion... only problem is I can't seem to figure out how to get Rust Dust into her chest armor mode. Tiny pics are tiny and I have never owned a combiner before.

Easy. There is a special exagonal peg hole on the bike that plug into the special stud that is right in the center of the main torso. You just then spread the libs as you see fit.

Christmas $ spent at estate auction. Pending arrival. Went this route and gave up trying to find a fort max at ross.

-g2 collectors club ramjet. $38
-Star scream, universe sealed. $11
+$10 fees and shipping.

Not much to say about most of these guys that hasn't been said other than I'm stoked on that ramjet and getting a great deal on star scream.

I got Legends Arcee for Christmas, and she's awesome. One of my favourite figures actually.

I also got UW Computron...who is NOT one of my favourite figures. I was suspicious the moment I opened him, from Scattershot's appallingly bendy wing plastic. But anyway, I tried combining him and pegged Nosecone's drill into the shoulder port (I had Nosecone as an arm)...and when I tried to take it off, the sodding drill peg snapped right off.

I'm never buying official combiners ever again. Quantron it is I suppose.

Damn, that really sucks, man. You have to have the worst luck with the combiners. For Scattorshot's wings, I think the flexible plastic was an intentional choice. With all the "holes" in the wings, a harder plastic would have lead to stress points and likely some breakage, especially when the whole wing get folded back during transformation. They were definitely weird to get used to. No excuse for the drill peg, that should be one of the strongest parts.

Gotta love Legends Arcee! I got her last Christmas for myself, but she remains one of the few ledt sealed in box (I have the Generations one to pose lol). I would love to have Legends Blurr.....

I may roll the dice amd see what's up at Ross today - my Walmarts suck.
