*shrug* Perhaps, perhaps not. But things that used to move and bend getting reduced to static dummies feels like a downgrade - especially when it happens to things like beast mode limbs. And that's what I'm worried about happening with the Beast Warriors. Especially with the mass limits having tightened some even since 2013.

There's no use borrowing trouble. It would be too bad if the Beast Mode limbs are static. But we aren't there yet. For now I'm gonna be optimistic about the molds.

But if we're just talking about the weapons probably being lumps of static plastic? That doesn't bother me. Rhinox's inaccurate weapon didn't bother me and a non spinning Dinobot sword doesn't bother me.

Honestly, I wouldn't doubt it I assume that next year's titan's going to be Metroplex then because he wanted to give it a go, and the other one's a bit out of date

Next year's toys would have already been planned and designed during his tenure, so the next line after Kingdom would be the first one done without him.

That's why I said I think Kingdom's titan might be Metroplex because I remember seeing that Warden wanted to give it a go. And I was mostly joking when I said I wouldn't doubt it, but it is a funny coincidence that Beast Wars comes back and Warden leaves the brand

Thank you for pointing that out, I hadn't noticed that. Takara's paint doesn't do that much to help them stand out IMO, but then Takara's extra paint operations are still basic in most cases.

They don't stand out because they were molded into the same piece as the rest of the guns' front. Takara painted them the same silver as the saws because maces and saws were the same silver in the cartoon. They attempted to apply show-accurate colors to not-so-show-accurately-molded plastic pieces.

Actually, the maces look to be a darker metal than the sawblades in the cartoon. But Takara painted them the same silver. I think what really doesn't help is how small the mace balls are in the sculpt.

I hope we get a Tarantulas and they don't go "we already have a Blackarachnia and we don't want two spiders on the shelf at the same time."

I was mostly joking when I said it in the first place, I just thought it was a funny coincidence too. Probably should have made that clearer.

Also, note that 2021 is the 25th anniversary of Beast Wars. After they skipped the 20th anniversary, I'm glad they're acknowledging this one... Though I do worry that the status quo will reassert itself once this special occasion is over.

Not stopping them from putting three Arcees (Cyberverse, ER and MP) on the shelf at around the same time. To say nothing of a rainbow assortment of jets.

I just have this nagging worry that they'll end up being Bandai America Zord quality versions.

He got a leader class figure and a rerelease in the spoiler pack. I don't think he'll be the Commander Class figure. So far we got 2 Autobots so it's time for a Decepticon. But who? Which Decepticon fits that size scale-wise from G1?

Of course the Beast Wars characters are mostly getting their waste-extraction units handed to them by Unicron's successor.

Another Overlord would be nice, but judging by that poster we're going to have Megatron, Galvatron and Beast Wars Megatron in this line, so a fourth villain leader would probably be a bit of overkill.

Speaking of the poster, can anyone figure out what that pink thing above Tigatron is?
