ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:*shrug* Perhaps, perhaps not. But things that used to move and bend getting reduced to static dummies feels like a downgrade - especially when it happens to things like beast mode limbs. And that's what I'm worried about happening with the Beast Warriors. Especially with the mass limits having tightened some even since 2013.Gauntlet101010 wrote:I just agree with Sentinel_Primal on firing missiles. They go in a bin and I hope I don't lose them. When I was a kid they were quickly lost.
So I don't miss 'em. rotation gimmicks are better. But their loss doesn't mean the old figures are better.
The maces weren't omitted. Hasbro just didn't paint them (or any part of that solid plastic piece):ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:That being said, the omission of the maces from his weapons

One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!
Zeedust wrote:...I wonder if this is connected to Warden leaving the Transformers team (be it cause or effect).
Next year's toys would have already been planned and designed during his tenure, so the next line after Kingdom would be the first one done without him.Sentinel_Primal wrote:Zeedust wrote:...I wonder if this is connected to Warden leaving the Transformers team (be it cause or effect).
Honestly, I wouldn't doubt itI assume that next year's titan's going to be Metroplex then because he wanted to give it a go, and the other one's a bit out of date

Thank you for pointing that out, I hadn't noticed that. Takara's paint doesn't do that much to help them stand out IMO, but then Takara's extra paint operations are still basic in most cases.Sabrblade wrote:The maces weren't omitted. Takara Generations
Takara LG-EX Legends
They don't stand out because they were molded into the same piece as the rest of the guns' front. Takara painted them the same silver as the saws because maces and saws were the same silver in the cartoon. They attempted to apply show-accurate colors to not-so-show-accurately-molded plastic pieces.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Thank you for pointing that out, I hadn't noticed that. That's why I said I think Kingdom's titan might be Metroplex because I remember seeing that Warden wanted to give it a go. And I was mostly joking when I said I wouldn't doubt it, but it is a funny coincidence that Beast Wars comes back and Warden leaves the brand

Overlord, easily. He'd come out in perfect cartoon scale with Legends God Ginrai.Rodimus Prime wrote:He got a leader class figure and a rerelease in the spoiler pack. I don't think he'll be the Commander Class figure. So far we got 2 Autobots so it's time for a Decepticon. But who? Which Decepticon fits that size scale-wise from G1?
I miss the days where we could celebrate both together by having the Maximals fight Unicron's successor.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:And the 35th anniversary of TFTM. As someone who is... not a fan of the 1986 movie, it bites that Beast Wars gets overshadowed by it.![]()
