Alt mode looks a little gappy to me. For the size, I'd expect it to be better...
(Fairness in criticality: I love FP's take, so I would likely be more critical of this set. Just saying. *whistles*)

there are only 12 months though? November in 2 years time? Well, it's a more accurate timescale for updates than some 3rd parties give us.

I dont need another 2 fppt tall cofee table centerpiece. I had enough time finding a spot for Generations Metroplex. And for all you MP collectors out there, I ask this:
Is there really a market for MP figures that are not cartoon accurate (neo) ??? I thought the whole appeal of the MP line was cartoon accuracy ? I always considered the big size a turn off. I am aware some people like this scale better than classics scale. But are you willing to start mixing your G1 accurate MP figures with neo MP figutres ? For that isnt it easier (and cheaper) to just stay with the classics line ?

This isn't going on my MP shelf (not that MP scale is all that different from Classics though, now that you mention it, especially for the Autobot cars). It's going to be standing next to Superion (Uranos), Devastator (Hercules) and the rest of my 3P combiners.
Scout scale is not "Classics" scale to me for combiners. It's Deluxes or above when I can manage it (FP Menasor being the obvious exception...for now).
THAT is yet to be seen.Tsutsukakushi wrote:Warbotron is the best version made so far.

This thing is going to tower Uranus. Im not sure if I like that. I can live with an inch and a half, but if it's like 3 inches taller, it just doesnt work with the other combiners currently out. Also, Im not feeling the trucks windshield on Onslaught's chest because it is too much like Optimus. Im not crazy about Vortex having the cockpit on his chest either, but Im used to that with the FP Combaticons (Hasbro mold) I would think a more cartoon accurate set wouldnt have copied that feature. Dont get me wrong, theyre awesome and I might buy em. But theyre not classics scale in any form, even gestalt mode.
But are these really Masterpiece or actually Voyager, as Onslaught would have to be as large as MP Optimus?Rated X wrote:Is there really a market for MP figures that are not cartoon accurate (neo) ???
