Schedualled missions are not the answer. Then you just get a crap load of missions with no one to fill them, because there aren't people on. The only real thing wrong with the way the missions are currently set up is that it's running a system that was based for only two factions, not four. The beast factions are throwing it off, and the solution needs to take them into account. And writing when missions are going to be schedualed sounds like more code to write then adding a mission for gestalts.
Do you mean CR time, or the actual Repair tactic?Con-Con wrote:How about repair speed based on rank? I'd imagin the higher ranked officers and so on get access to better medics then low rank soldiers.
Or able to pay more for a faster repair, and if youre cheap your repair time is doubled?

Ahem.. anyway, wouldn't my idea make sence? probably annoying to code though..

Yeah possibilities for people to run another team and set both up to feed each other XP. It's far too easy to exploit. And is a terrible idea for that reason.

Well, to be fair it's no more of a bad idea than communism or anarchy. It works perfectly well - if no one exploits it. Less a condemnation of the theory and more a sad reflection of humanity.
Still, yes, that's why that's never been done.
