Well damn, looks like I'm headed to A3U on my next day off...MGrotusque wrote:Saw him on display at A3U the other day and i gotta say, wow , he's mighty impressive. Lots of diecast and beastly looking. With all the accessories and stuff you get with him he's DEFINITELY worth the price tag.
Seriously.....i'm gonna go as far and say that he's a must have. Of course that's just by looking at him in a glass case though.

donny1975 wrote:I am totally all over getting this guy...MP-05 is too tall for my collection and frankly still suffers from the same aesthetic issues as the G1 toy...his proportions are off --legs are too skinny and delicate looking for my taste. Don't get me wrong I think the Takara MP version is a great figure in its own right but not toon accurate which is what I am into.
Hegemon although he looks great is too small, and after looking at a few reviews there are some issues with him as well.
So this just comes down to Goldilocks situation; for what it is and what I am collecting it is just right: size, aesthetic, price.
I am sure this guy will have something that will be a gripe for anyone who is going to get him, but then again in all of the toys I have and reviews I have watched there are not many figures out there that have EVERYTHING that one would want in that particular iteration of the character; quality, aesthetic, transformation, parts forming and the holy grail of ANKLE TILTS!
donny1975 wrote:agreed but none of them really scale that well with MP-10. The x-transbot sample shots look to scale with MP-10 really well.
I would have totally gotten the MP-05 mold if this hadn't come out, but glad I didn't pull the trigger on that...pun intended.
Didn't know that Hegemon had 3rd party platform shoes out to give him a lift...

Honestly don't know these TFW Members personally. To know whether their telling the truth or joking around.
