Remember the Movie Trilogy line that was supposed to spin off of the Dark Of The Moon toyline? All those promised redecos and remolds that we saw at various panels, yet they never saw the light of day? Well, after nearly three years of waiting, Takara Tomy has made the existence of those figures, or at least some of them, possible.
Seibertron.com is proud to present our two newest Transformers galleries:
Movie Advanced AEON Exclusive Wheeljack and AD17 Darkside Soundwave
Wheeljack sports a G1 deco and a brand new head that looks like a mix of his G1 self and...the Matrix?? Sadly, all of the accessories have been stripped and it's just the figure, but at least the fans will finally get the figure they were hoping for.
Darkside Soundwave takes on a Soundblaster deco, and looks classy doing so. Again, still no accessories, but the figure rocks all on it's own. At first glance, it looks like Soundwave took a dip in a vat of ink, but the black does look good on him and the silver paint apps bring the rest of the look together to sweeten the deal.
You can click on the pictures below to be taken to each figure's full gallery. While you're there, check out our galleries of the original molds,
DOTM Wheeljack/Que and
DOTM Soundwave.

It's that time again... New Galleries on Seibertron.com!
Our newest gallery roundup consists of the newest wave of Generations Deluxes, which is wave wave 4. The makeup of this assortment is 2x of Crosscut, Jhiaxus, Nightbeat and last, but certainly not least...Windblade!
Crosscut is a redeco and slight remold of the IDW Generations Skids mold from 2013, making this the second reuse of the mold and the first of those remolds to not be tied to movieverse. (You can see Skids gallery
here, and info on Rollbar,
here.)
Jhiaxus is not only a redeco of an existing mold, but a rather substantial remolding of it, too. (The origin mold, Generations Armada Starscream, can be seen
here.) Jhiaxus first made his appearance as a Decepticon villain in Marvel's 1993 comic tie in, Transformers G2. The shortlived run lasted just about a year, but in that short period of time and since then, fans have been wanting a legit Jhiaxus figure and this guy is it.
Nightbeat's another classic character and while this newest version sadly doesn't feature the G1 original's Headmaster gimmick, it does retain that cool flame deco! Nightbeat is a redeco and remold of the IDW Generations
Bumblebee/
Goldbug (Goldfire) figure mold from 2013. You may note that his comic uses the
RTS Jazz design, while the toy does not. (A point of contention for some fans.)
And finally, Windblade. This figure was made for the fans, by the fans! After a poll with various questions, Hasbro was given the criteria the fans demanded out of a figure and it had to be female and she had to be a jet. Hasbro listened and delivered, and Windblade is one of their most unique creations in recent history. From her striking Japanese inspired Kabuiki-esque look, to her curves and sharp edges. Speaking of sharp edges, she touts a killer sword that's just awesome to behold.
Speaking of Windblade, that's where we'll start. Click on any of the images, below, to be taken to that figure's full gallery:

Generations Nightbeat
Generations Crosscut
Generations Jhiaxus

Howdy fellow Seibertronians!
Va'al here, taking some time to ensure veteran members and newcomers alike are all aware of the best ways of reporting and notifying the staff of news items, from sightings to reveals to articles. Seibertron.com is only as amazing as its users' contributions (and so far, we're all pretty spectacular).
There are two main types of news reporting: emailing the news staff, and using our contact form. As you may have noticed, there is no longer a News & Rumors section on the boards for you post items. So read on below to find out more!
Sightings
Email:
sightings@seibertron.com
Any physical sighting of new toys. Please continue to use the
Sightings section and the various
forums for regional sightings, but if you think something is newsworthy, send us an email with
location,
price and one or two
images of the product, how you'd like to be credited, and we'll check our records - then post it on the front page!
If you spot a post on the boards by another user that you think might be a newsworthy sighting, then please send us an email with a link to it! Some users are able to follow parts of the news feed more thoroughly than others, and we might be sitting on a gem that no one has discovered yet.
Other News
Email:
news@seibertron.com
Form:
/contact/index.php?subject=news
This category includes everything else: from official product images, interviews, features, video clips, reviews, promotional material, announcements, press releases, whatever you think might make good, informative or funny front page news - as long as it's Transformers related in some way! Again, drop us a line, make sure to indicate the
source (a link would be amazing, even if it's just to a post you made on the boards), how you'd like to be credited in the post, and it'll make its way to the front page.
Again, this also applies to posts made by other users who may not realise that something is newsworthy - just send us a link to the post in an email.
Note
The Seibertron.com staff, both news and forums, are volunteers, and do most of their work on their own time. Please be patient with us as we try to reply within one-two days, and understand that sometimes things can fall between the cracks in the Internet.
Not everything we receive will be posted on the front page, but everything is always considered among the staff before a decision is made either way. If in doubt, check the
News feed.
So thanks for reading, and keep up the stellar work,

We made it.
After four years and 99 episodes, we've finally arrived at episode #100. We're thrilled to bring you this very special edition of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast. Join your host
Counterpunch as he brings along special pals
John Barber from IDW Publishing, freelance author
Jim Sorenson, and our comics editor
Va'al for unique segments you're sure to want to catch. Although, first you'll have to listen to your regular cast
Jon 3.0,
Razorclaw0000, yours truly
Scotty P, and
Seibertron, who pops in for a few as well.
Episode #100 "#100 in a Four-Episode Limited Series" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
(3:26)
After a brief intro, we dig in to the storied history of the Twincast / Podcast! And yes, you get the actual history this time, not a made up story.
There is still no Generations version of us
(14:45)
Ever want to go behind the scenes of the show? You may second guess that desire after hearing us chat about our setups and where we record from. Here's a hint: it's not in a professional studio.
We heard that "Honest Trailers" is done from here too
(18:15)
Bragging Rights pop up out of nowhere! What kind of haul has Razorclaw0000 ready to Never Forgive? You can listen, but I'll just spoil it with an image here anyways.
You can call me Senpai
(21:35)
We do sneak in some actual news in this episode! New Masterpieces are on the way including
Exhaust and
Star Saber. Listen in and these exciting new toys make their way into our hearts and... lungs? Did we chain smoke our way through this one? You'll have to tune in to find out.
Come to where the flavor is.
(28:00)
From Counterpunches to debates to drunk convention appearances, there have been a lot of amazing Twincast moments over the years. The cast recollects their favorite times, so listen in to find out what we've enjoyed over the years, and be sure to share your favorite Twincast moments in the discussion thread below!
I was at a bar too, in Raleigh, sad that I wasn't in Orlando
(43:30)
Believe it or not (and I'm sure you probably do believe it), the show that you get to listen to doesn't always have a smooth road it travels down to get there. Can you imagine us messing up? We certainly can, and we take a look back at some of our "oops" moments over the years. Learn more than you ever wanted to about the how and why behind the "how" and "why?" moments you've heard.

[/img]
At least Hasbro makes transformation bloopers too. Wait, why won't that image work? Damn.
(53:53)
It's been a long journey, so we make sure to take a different look back in time. Which member of the cast has been on the site the longest? What awesome rockin' topics were all the rage back on
August 12, 2010? Click the link to look back, and listen to the latest show to hear us realize that we're getting old. Oh, and don't tell, but this is
technically our 101st episode
This was once the new hotness
And now I toss it across the pond to our resident King of Comics,
Va'al, who stayed up extra late to help us welcome some extra special guests! Take it away Va'al!
(1:05:26)
I'm taking it, ScottyP, takin' it to places where we've never been before: the realm of IDW, and its senior editor John Barber! And John doesn't only work with transforming robots, he has full tapestries of serial
killings comics, where GI Joe shows up more than once too.
We talked about a number of things with Barber, and you can hear them all if you follow the time mark above, but here's a rundown for you:
Ever wondered how long he's been a part of the franchise? He was there when the comics started. He was there with the cartoons and even with the toys - which still pile-up on his desk regularly, it seems - all long before he became a writer (with the movie stuff) and editor at IDW Publishing.
Not Barber's desk
Since then, he's been doin' it with style on Robots in Disguise, which has hit a new peak recently
with issue #32, and we talked about how he sees Prowl, Thundercracker and what the near future will hold for the cast, especially Galvatron, the Headmasters and a possible
Game of Thrones echo.
Did it work?
With that in mind, we moved even further into the future, and what Combiner Wars might bring us, between six issues of 'the series formerly known as RID' and the returning Windblade series. And Razorclaw000 thinks we get a major scoop about Megastator.
So close
I also manage to sneak in a question about the highly divisive, but otherwise extremely popular, collaboration with Tom Scioli on Transformers vs G.I. Joe, and just how much fun they have working on it.
FUN
And to round off, we went back in RID's history to two of the best received issues pre-Dark Cybertron, to look at Soundwave's new spin, and how the cassettes got their voices in the comics.
Insult-bot: Origins?
If you haven't been reading Robots in Disguise this far, make sure to head to
ComiXology or your local comics shop to pick up the
Phase Two, Volume 1, any of the trades, or single monthly issues!
And thanks again to John Barber for joining us for this special occasion.
(2:25:54)
We weren't finished! The man of a thousand voices jON3.0 brought along a special guest, the curator/archivist/bounty hunter with a hat - Jim Sorenson! We talked hats, conventions, the
Complete Allspark Almanac, past work that he's done for IDW like the
Art of Prime and how he juggles it all.
Jim's robotic avatar, by Kris Carter
Then we looked at what's yet to come, specifically another co-authored book with Bill Forster, a celebration of 30 years of Transformers toys and their packaging art:
Transformers Legacy. This will truly be a big, chunky piece of history.
A BIG book
And as we than Jim for also joining us to celebrate 100 episodes, here is where I launch the laptop back across the ocean, hoping ScottyP will get it to finish writing. Ready, Scott?
-----
Got it! Thanks for the write-up Va'al, and thanks again to everyone that's listened over the years, plus everyone that's dropped into the show! We're only going to get bigger and better from here, so stay tuned over the next four years on the road to episode 200 for fun Transformers talk and more, much more, than meets the ear.
Don't forget, the show only gets better if you tell us how. Drop us a review on
iTunes and be sure to tell us what you love, what you hate, and what you want to hear!
Not on the show to give your take? Probably not, so don't forget to keep the discussion going on the
Seibertron.com Energon Pub Forums by simply replying to this post!
Got a question for the Twincast? We take all of them, we just don't take them all seriously! Leave a question in the
Ask the Twincast thread and, if it makes the cut, it may get read and answered on the show.

Welcome to the latest edition of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host for the evening, ScottyP, along with Jon 3.0, Rotorstorm and Tigertrack. Tonight we discuss those bizarre cloud figures, some neat TFCC goodies, a really drool worthy Masterpiece figure and how times are changing in the collecting world.
Episode 99 "Penultimate" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
(0:20 - 10:48)
We start of the night discussing the newly released images of
TFC-D04 Hellwarp and TFC-A04 Roadbuster ... will anyone actually be getting these figures? Guess you'll have to tune in to find out.
(10:49 - 19:21)
The cast recently got their
TFCC subscription service figure Treadshot with Catgut...and the reviews are pretty stellar.
![Transformers News: Twincast / Podcast Episode #99 "Penultimate" Transformers News: Twincast / Podcast Episode #99 "Penultimate"]()
YAY no paint issues!
p.s If you have your figures on display, here is a
must buy!
(19:23 - 27:28)
Of course we NEED to discuss these incredible photos of
MP Ultra Magnus...
...as well as how excited we are for this guy,
Star Saber!
(27:29 - 46:38)
With the overload of products coming out, we discuss a topic that has been at the forefront of a lot of collectors minds lately. Are we experiencing another exodus of collectors? Has the enthusiasm for the brand been diminishing and why? Listen in to hear what we think and our personal views on this topic.
(46:39 - 01:09:22)
Up next we talk comics! The cast dives into
Robots in Disguise #32,
Primacy #1 and
MTMTE #32.
...and it probably wasn't a good idea for Rotorstorm to mention that she finally started buying the comics. *epic fail*
(01:09:23 - 01:20:49)
Up next we have a listener question that the cast probably could have gone on for hours about.
(01:20:50 - end)
And of course we close the night with our bragging rights! Tune in to hear what goodies we were able to get our hands on finally.
Thanks everyone for listening and we appreciate the continued support! Don't forget, the show only gets better if you tell us how. Drop us a review on
