Transformers Collector's Club News on Seibertron.com
The Transformers Collector's Club has now posted details for their first Members Only Contest. The first contest is for Transformer Customizers and only creations posted AFTER October 4th will be accepted entries. All members wishing to enter their piece can e-mail their photos to Pete at pete@botcon.com
There will be two winners determined in two different ways. The Grand Prize winner will be voted on by all members of the club by voting on the club forums. If you win, you will get the following prize pack:
Botcon 2005 Deathsaurus Botcon 2009 Leozack
Botcon 2010 Sharkticon (not specified which of the 3)
Botcon 2010 Doublepunch
In addition, the staff of the TCC will pick a runner-up following the end of polling. If the TCC staff picks your entry, you will receive a Botcon 2006 Dinobot figure!
You have until November 22nd to submit your entries. So get customizing now and make sure to share your entries with us in Transtopia!
In an effort to get make sure all "female flesh-creatures" get their men to join the Transformers Collectors' Club, the Club has enlisted the help of Megatron, aka Mega-Spice, in a great parody of the latest Old Spice commercials. The online promo, posted to YouTube, also gives us a brief look at 2011 Club Member Freebie Sideburn, which will be a repaint of Classics Rodimus. The full commercial is embedded below for your viewing enjoyment. It may not convince you to join, but it will make you wish you could ride a Seeker jet in space.
The latest issue of the Transformers Collector's Club magazine is arriving at the mailboxes of Seibertronians! Issue #35, dated October / November 2010, reveals several new Transformers products, some of which we've already seen unofficially during the past couple of weeks. Here's a rundown on what you can look forward to this issue:

Brian's Bytes and Bolts - Brian mentioned that they hope to have registration online later this year for BotCon 2011 as well as other exciting details about BotCon, MCAX.com, the Diamond Edition 2010 BotCon comic, and more!

Q&A with Hasbro - pictures reveal new images of Deluxe Generation 2 Optimus Prime (looks incredible), deluxe Wreck-Gar, deluxe Perceptor, deluxe Scourge, deluxe Tracks and legends Trailcutter. The article reveals some details about a few other characters who have not received updates recently and also alludes or strongly hints that there might be possible future updates of the 3 remaining original Autobots who have yet to receive a new figure yet.

The Transformers Collector's Club's store has listed preorders for the first wave of 2011 Transformers we've been seeing over the past few days. The Transformers Collector's Club wants more Transformers Fans to join or re-join the club this fall. The TCC has announced that new contests, promotions, and reveals are on the way and hope that these new perks will help you in deciding to join.
Some time next week, we will get our first glimpse at the 2011 Club Member "Freebie" Figure, Sideburn! For those that do not know, Sideburn will be repaint of Classics Rodimus and is a homage to RID Sideburn. The TCC has mentioned that this figure will be part of the "Wings-verse" and will be an Elite Guardsmen.
Also, the TCC has announced that their first contest will be announced on Monday, so make sure to check it out.
Lastly, we have also heard rumors of changes coming to the club site and the forums. The changes have also been hinted on the club forums by certain individuals. So take all of this into consideration when deciding to join the club.
If you've been tinkering with your budget with the recently revealed 2011 Transformers toys, you'll be tinkering some more. The Official Transformers Collectors' Club has updated their website with previews for their 2011 Member Exclusive Toys. These three were announced at BotCon 2010. The free membership figure will be Side Burn, a homage to the RID character of the same name. He will also be a part of the "Wings of Honor" Elite Guard, and uses Classics Rodimus as a base. Next up is Transtech Cheetor, who will be a remold/redeco of the toy he inspired, Animated Blurr. Toping of 2011 is Generation 2 Ramjet, who continues the 2010 BotCon set and uses Classics Ramjet as a base. Check out the very small teasers below!

The awesome folks over at the Transformers Collector's Club have posted a new Transformers story. This 43 page story is available to all TCC members and can be found online in the members only section. The new story is called "A Team Effort", which is a Transformers: Wings Universe story. "A Team Effort" is written by Jesse Wittenrich with illustrations by Casey Coller.
Transformers Collector's Club wrote:"As the quarrels between the various Decepticon Warlords heat up, Gutcruncher sets his sights on a greater power. Deep in space, a meteor drifts through the blackness. Inside its rocky hide, an unknown energy source awaits discovery. Whoever finds it will have the power to not only destroy the Autobot Elite Guard, but conquer all of Cybertron!"
