Thanks to Seibertronians D-Maximal_Primal and aronjlove, we have word that T-Wrecks, the Maximal repaint of Beast Megatron, is finally showing up on Target's website! While we've known he's coming for some time, he still hasn't been officially revealed by Hasbro. Perhaps an official reveal is just around the corner? The listing currently shows the big bot as "Coming Soon", though a little more digging into the listing reveals that RedCard holders get early access to preorder through 24 July, and that all guests (not just RedCard holders) will be able to order him on July 25th.
That's great news, considering a previous figure, Red Wing, could only be ordered via RedCard access and was never available to order by non-RedCard holders (except for a brief glitch that allowed anyone to order him).
Are you planning to pick T-Wrecks up when he's available to you? Is he just not your thing? Let us know in the comments below, and chick on any of the photos in this article to be taken to the listing.

Earthrise

Airwave/Hot House/Overair
Fasttrack/Black Roritchi (or "Lorricci". Could be Italian...)
Kingdom
Paleotrex/Transmutate/Skelivore
Ractonite/Tricranius
Wingfinger
3 Weaponizer-type molds in each line... I'm very skeptical about a fourth. Then there's the fact a Brunt redeco as Metrotank, originally a redeco of Slammer, appeared in one of the mangas, so grasping at straws if anything else.

So has anyone with a Redcard actually been able to figure out how to order? I have one, but can't seem to find a way to pre-order.

I dunno, the leaks were pretty specific. The guy in question leaked Slammer before the Walmart listing (I think he got to look at the instructions), and specifically called out his status as a Weaponizer and the fact that he had some sort of cool chainsaw/shield weapon. In particular:Bounti76 wrote:I think it's more likely that Slammer will be a redeco of Warpath, probably with a new head. Treds is the only other easy use of the mold that I can think of, but he's likely to be a Selects figure, if at all.
Re - Slammer: I thought the same [reference to him potentially being a Warpath retool] til I saw his engineering prototype pics, he looks very different almost more like airwave.
I'm picking him up for his cool chainsaw tank tread shield weapon alone.
Slammer:
Not super interested in this one, but he looks much more accurate than I expected. Appears to be almost completely a new mold. No obvious signs of shared engineering with Warpath, apart from the fact they both have treads and are tanks.
Neither did any of the Weaponizers/Modulators except for SixgunBounti76 wrote:The only thing G1 Slammer ever transformed into besides its tank mode was a tower in Metroplex's city mode, so he doesn't really have any history as a Weaponizer style figure

I have a RedCard, but he's not available for me to pre-order, even when I'm logged in. I think it's just a case of the listing being put up, but not yet active.

Understandable as there is no Target in the UK. This is Good News for everyone there. Hopefully Pulse U.S. will follow suit under their "partners" arrangement where they have offered limited amounts of retailers exclusives previously to make them a little easier to obtain.

This is good news for U.K. residents, as they now have access to this anticipated figure. Click on any picture above to be taken to his U.K. listing! He's due to be dispatched on September 1st this year, so just near the end of the summer. Good luck, U.K. fans!

There were some leaked listings a month or so ago with a Kingdom Voyager Blaster. A couple of leakers said afterwards that some of the next trilogy's figures were being shuffled into a Kingdom Wave 5 a la Siege and Earthrise, but I don't remember if there were any others besides Blaster.william-james88 wrote:Autobot N wrote:For me, it's Blaster, Slammer, and Pipes, in that orderwilliam-james88 wrote:Of the toys yet to be shown for Kingdom, which are you most excited to see? Oddly enough, I recall that Magmatron was an exclusive to Target at that time, but I think the original T-Wrecks was regular retail correct? - He was the only one I never wanted. I wanted all the others because it was a less expensive way to get several of the BW Neo Destrons' (albeit colored different)

There is no head retooling. There was supposed to be, but Hasbro goofed and used the same head as Megatron instead of the new one they made for T-Wrecks. As such, this is a straight redeco.DeathReviews wrote:Not sure I understand the appeal for this one. Different colors and a slight head remolding hardly seems to make this figure worth all the anticipation. Sure we all love tyrannosaurs, but they're treating T-Wrecks with as much buzz as if they were making the Centurion Drone accessories pack available again.....
As for why all the fuss, T-Wrecks is the redeco of the original BW Megatron toy. It was made back in 2000, so as soon as the new Kingdom Megatron was announced, people were expecting the inevitable T-Wrecks redeco.

I believe he also mentioned Slammer's tank cannon being able to be arm-mounted in robot mode like a Megatron fusion cannon, which would be absolutely impossible for the Warpath mold.Autobot N wrote:I dunno, the leaks were pretty specific. Surprisingly, Tigatron is a Voyager instead of a Deluxe, so it will be a new mold, not a remold of Cheetor.

T-Wrecks was regular retail, yes. The BM Dinobots were shipped mixed with the regular BM figures; T-Wrecks' case mate was Ultra Jetstorm.
:EDIT: Weird, I found a little... quirk with Paleotrex, specifically the Dino feet: they were misassembled on mine. Kinda hard to tell, but the detailing didn't really match up with what's on the Instructions (the part glossary for the Weapon Modes), turns out the shins were switched going by the curvature of the knees.

The shoulders sitting low on him though, I can confirm it is because he is assembled wrong. the O-rings are upside down. I popped the pins out (I don't recommend, high chance of figure destruction) and the rings have sculpted detail on them that match the rest of the shoulder once flipped right side up. (see attached pics). Also going to do a review of the mad lad. Stay Tuned!

So these are the bad shoulders? Just delivered by BBTS and they have shipped a lot of Galvatron figures with bad shoulders. Yeah, I'll just sit on the figure for a bit and see what I can find locally. One Target yesterday had tons of Rhinox and Cyclonus so they put out voyagers but the deluxe and leaders were older stuff, going to check the other major Target near me after work. I've seen reports of fixed variants being found in the wild so something must have been done.

I have seen reports of people finding fixed shoulders in the wild. however these could be factory "mistakes" were the mistake is accidentally the correct version!
I will say I do advise SERIOUS caution if you are thinking about doing the fix, because breakage is highly likely. Japanese toy reviewer Wotafa did a livestream where he does the fix. It is easy to see how to do it even though it is in Japanese.
honestly though if you freak out at the sight of toys getting treated dangerously, look away!

I watched the first half thinking no way in hell. The pin wasn't so bad, I was surprised how difficult it appeared just getting the arm off and on. Then seeing how scratched up the inside of the arm pieces got really turned me off. But then the tip to ditch the pin and replace it with a screw has almost convinced me to maybe give it a try.

I'm thinking the pin is just plain cheapear than a screw, because if it was a screw it would be easy peasy. A couple of scratches on an arm joint ain't gonna bother me, but misassembled shoulders might. We shall see.

Question, does the "broken" shoulder configuration affect the range of movement if you simply orient them so the pin head faces towards you?

Absolutely not from what I can tell. I don't see any range of movement impeded. I just finished one arm and they can both move the same. Actually, if you don't do the 'fix', Galvatron has a higher reach. If your Galvatron plays basketball, you want the factory defect

I haven't even transformed him yet but since all we are doing is flipping that shoulder piece, you can do exactly what you say but then the pin-hole shows. So it depends on how much that will bother you. Someone is gonna make an add-on that is nothing but covers for those pin-holes, they gonna make a lotta money.

From this picture, we can see that Red Alert will be based on the upcoming Amazon exclusive earth-mode Sideswipe. Like his regular mold mate, Red Alert will also be a store exclusive, to the Walgreens drugstore chain, at least in the U.S., like Siege Ratchet and Earthrise Bluestreak. It remains to be seen how his distribution outside the U.S. will he handled.

I think Hasbro and Takara must have used the original MP-14 release of Red Alert, not the “anime colors” MP-14+ version, as their color guide for the Kingdom figure.

On another note, i never got SEIGE Red Alert, or Netflix Red Alert, so I'm gonna try and pick up this guy, even if I passed up on Inferno (already had Grapple). I was perfectly fine with the SEIGE Lambo mold, which is why I have both Sideswipe and Deep Cover, but I'll bite on this one if it becomes available here in Canada. Earth-mode is a decent enough slight retool to not make me think its HasTak laziness, so Red Alert will look fine with my other two Lambros.
