According to a post on

JACON that have been connected to Transformers in the past.
Rumor has it that Gregg Berger and Stan Bush will reportedly be in attendance for the convention in Orlando that runs from May 22nd to May 24th.
It is also rumored that there are some scheduling issues to insure that this event does not run the same time as Botcon before an official announcement is made.

New information has just been posted regarding some upcoming Transformers Fan Conventions that will be held globally. It seems that five different events:
Autocon, DairyCon, CyberCon, DBCTF and
Gamer's Reunion have come together to offer either the same set of exclusives or a combined exclusive figure:
Dairycon, Cybcon, Dutchbotcon, and Gamers Reunion have teamed up to bring you an exclusive item for 2009. The year 2009 marks a very special occasion for fans of their fav toyline, and it is in this spirit that the original team (along with some new blood) comes together again. The identity of this item remains a secret... for now
Check back soon for updates! You won't be disappointed!
An image of a blacked out figure has been posted on a conjoined site for the four events.
These conventions are happy to be for fans, by fans
And together, we can team-up to bring you something special! Representatives from each convention are part of a larger conglomerate called Autocon. For more information on the history of Autocon-exclusives, click here!
More information on this new turn of events can be seen
here.
UPDATE: Seibertron.com member Trikeboy has just gave us a clue as to who this exclusive figure may be:

It appears to be the mold of Battle Unicron (or Magna Stampede) of the Beast Machines line. More information on this exclusive will be posted as it becomes available.

Transformers voice actor David Kaye's name has been mentioned in a
news article on the
Peterborough Examiner website. The man best known as the voice of various incarnations of Megatron and currently as the voice of Transformers Animated Optimus Prime, will be a guest narrator at the live orchestral performance by the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, to be held on December 21st at Showplace Peterborough.
The article it self has a short overview of the actor's accomplishments and it reveals that Kaye's father Vern Hope actually plays in the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra and that this will be their chance to work together.

Trying to get information on the next
Botcon has been harder than trying to pull healthy teeth, but we finally get a little hint of what we can expect at the
Transformers Club's official event.
According to the latest issue of the Transformers Club Magazine, Brian Savage tells us that three of the
Botcon exclusive figures will have remolded heads. As to the who, what, where and when, no word has been mentioned as of yet. This number is one short of the total exclusive figures, which had four remolded heads in
Shattered Glass Goldbug, Blurr, Megatron and
Jazz/Richochet.
Complete details of the Club exclusive magazine are only available to recipients, and in order to receive it you gotta be a member. Sign up by visiting the
TFCC Homepage and don't forget we have an exclusive, ongoing, question and answer thread dedicated to the
TFCC here.

Seibertron.com has received information from an Anonymous Source that would indicate that to be the case. According to our source, Stan Bush has been booked for a convention in the southeast part of the country this summer. Also, according to our source, more details will be revealed next week regarding the dates and exact location of this event.
Edit: Our source has contacted us again to clarify some confusion. The event is NOT Botcon, it is a smaller convention. We apologize for the mix up and will update when more information about this event and Botcon become available.

Seibertron.com mdverde has posted an update regarding TICOBOT, the first Transformers Convention ever to be held in Costa Rica. After what we're being showed here, we can only imagine what to expect next year. Here's what was shared:
Ticobot was a huge success beyond all expectations.
Early in the morning on Saturday, November 1st, it was noted that this won’t be a normal weekend at the Children’s Museum. The crowd seemed eager to enter to the building where the first Transformers convention in Costa Rica will be held. A long queue of about 600 feet was formed out of the former stronghold and the people stream was constant during the day and even was increased during the Sunday.
At the main lounge of the Youth Complex of the Children’s Museum, named “Kaopakawe” (by its aboriginal name), several sponsors and mini-stores were located, with a lot of Transformers related products, among comics, mecha and anime stuff. In the back yard of the building, some real cars were shown, including a Shelby GT500 2008 that left with their mouths open to many people, by for its resemblance to the Camaro Bumblebee from the live action Movie. Also a classic Volskwagen Beetle was shown homage to G1 Bumblebee, and a Transformer-themed Nissan Sentra.

The display of thousands of figures from characters from all Transformers eras, from 1984 to 2008, talks, movie and cartoon projections, contests, trivias, video games, face painting for children, and even a Soundwave costume, gave a lot to talk about to attendants and the media, telling that the event was a total success, even exceeding the organizing group expectations.

The event closed with a little concert with the excellent Costa Rican band Tres16, who performed several songs from the Transformers cartoons and movies, and also from other 80s cartoons.

According to official numbers from the Children’s Museum, 7,000 people attended Ticobot 2008 during the weekend, breaking all assistance records. Long queues were made to enter the main attraction of the event, the figure display area.
Entire families came to enjoy the convention, even from the most remote cities of the country and they left very satisfied, asking why there wasn’t an event like that before, and when will be the next one.
Right now, the Ticobot group is working in the “Ticobot 2009” that will be held on July 2009, some weeks after the premiere of the film “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”. See you next year!

With many of the year's conventions now behind us, it is time to start planning for the next set to take place in 2009.
As reported by Seibertron's own Waaaaghlord, the first of
Auto Assembly's two voice actor guests has been announced.
Our European fans will be joined at AA 2009 by none other than Ian James Corlett, the voice of Cheetor in the Beast Wars and Beast Machines.
Ian will be joining fans for the festivities for the whole weekend, and will partake in a live script reading session on Saturday night, and will also be giving a talk on one of the days (actual day to be decided).
For all those fans that grew up with the Beast Wars, this is a great oppurtunity to meet one of the Axalon's crew, and not an oppurtunity that should be passed up.

The 2008 Holiday Season is upon us Seibertronians, and with it comes the 61st Annual
Toys 4 Tots charity drive, brought to us by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. This year, T4T’s hopes to collect thousands of toys for children near and far to bring a little cheer to those less fortunate this holiday season.
Throughout the nation, Toys R Us stores will be collecting toys for the event along with a host of other “drop off” sites. These toys that are collected will then be separated and shipped by the US Marine Reserves to local hospitals, schools and institutions for children to enjoy.
In conjunction with
Toys R Us,
HASBRO, Inc. and others, Toys 4 Tots is looking to make this year the biggest collection of toys ever! But they can’t do it without our help. So if you see a drop off bin at a TRU while your hunting for that exclusive, or notice that your local Fire Department is collecting toys as well, you can purchase any toy, preferably a Transformers toy, and leave it, unwrapped, with the collecting authority.
Let’s help to make this holiday season, that may be battered by rough financial times, a joyous one for some children who may only get this precious gift for the holidays.
Thank you all,
Seibertron.com Staff

The that works on setting up Auto Assembly has dropped by to announce that there will be a convention next year! Here's the complete press release below:
We are pleased to announced that Auto Assembly 2009 is coming! Europe's largest Transformers convention is back for 2009 and it is going to be bigger and better than ever! This time it is going to be a two-day convention allowing us to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Transformers in style and will be a weekend packed with activities, dealers, guests and so much much!
The convention will be held on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2009, with a bonus mini programme of activities on the evening of Friday 14th August for those who book for the full weekend. Initially only weekend passes will be available, but single day tickets will be on sale closer to the convention should spaces still be available. There will be an extra special programme of activities running on Saturday evening until the early hours of Sunday, but these will be exclusive to weekend attendees!
The convention will be held at our new venue, The Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre, which is on Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham, right in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, England. It is an ideal location for anyone travelling to Birmingham from anywhere in the UK and is just 2 minutes walk from Birmingham New Street Station!
We have run a number of surveys to find out exactly what you want from Auto Assembly 2009 and we will be tailoring the activities and events to suit YOU the attendees. There will be so much going on that you won't have time to rest - from guest talks to video screenings, workshops to toy and art displays, dealers and competitions, a charity auction and games area, quizzes and much more besides. And for the first time ever at Auto Assembly, a live script reading from Transformers voice actors! Talking of voice actors, we will be having not one but TWO voice actors joining us at Auto Assembly 2009 to join in the celebrations!
We already have our first three guests confirmed - first up is legendary TF artist Andrew Wildman making his sixth appearance at Auto Assembly, secondly is IDW and Titan colourist Liam Shalloo, and third we have John McCrea whose Transformers work includes Titan Magazines Transformers and Transformers Animated titles. We will be announcing more over the next few days. We are also in the final stages of discussions with our first voice actor and hope to announce them in the next 7 days and the second actor in the next few weeks!
Ticket prices will be £45 for adults and £35 for concessions with reductions to just £40 and £30 for a limited period once bookings open for early registrations! We have also managed to negotiate for reduced accommodation rates in the Holiday Inn hotel for their superb bedrooms and these will be posted on the website.
We are also working our traditional goodie bag of free gifts for attendees and this is going to be our most spectacular yet. As always, there will be more gifts the earlier you register but this will include keyrings, postcards, DVDs (for the first 40+) and much more!! There will also be added bonuses for pre-registrants and if that wasn't enough, we are also looking at ways of improving our pre-registration system to make things smoother and faster than ever for all of you attending.
Bookings will open soon so keep an eye on the Auto Assembly website and all the usual Transformers websites and forums for all the latest news and developments as we have them.
We hope to see many of you there next year for what we think will be the biggest and best Auto Assembly ever!
