Nah, they've been available online for a while now, but are just hitting shelves. In about a month people will be complaining that they are peg warming though.fenrir72 wrote:These two are hard to find?! Shelf warming............

I strongly recomend Fracture as well, that is some top level to design!
Also guys, I dont get how we can even call toys shelfwarming when they are the latest toys to be out. If they are there a year later, thats shelf warming. Anytime before and its just restocking for anticipated demand, especially in a line which includes older toys as part of its waves.

I agree! Picked him up a week ago and he is impressive. Probably the peak of the line for me because I haven't seen a RiD15 hit all those notes so well. At least so far. Any other recommendations? I don't watch the show so I'm looking for interesting designs and such.

I am trying to decide on a Thunderhoof. It seems like you have to pick either nice face scan or proportionate antlers. Any suggestions?william-james88 wrote:Optimizzy wrote:not a RiD2015 fan but I want that Thunderhoof

Well I just gushed all over THoof and Qfire over on my collection here.Optimizzy wrote:Any other recommendations? I don't watch the show so I'm looking for interesting designs and such.

Well each warrior figure has something interesting going on, but if you just want a down and dirty quick list of highligts:
Jazz
Drift
Thunderhoof
Fracture
Quillfire
I feel Quillfire is interesting/fun enough to stand alone and worth checking out even if you don't watch the show or collect the toys.
The Decepticons seen more interesting overall than the Autobots. Something about them being beast-bots do it for me. Most of their transformations seem a little more unique as well.
If you're trying to round out your roster then consider going outside just the warrior class.
1 step Springload and legion Fixit scale very well with the warriors. Fixit is just a good figure on his own.

Not that it interferes with much, the folded gun props him up pretty well, but I was playing with hi9m, wondered why he had an extra hole on him that the gun didn't fit into, and then went and looked at pictures...
Otherwise, I completely agree, it's an impressive Boom Stick and a great, engaging Transformation while not being difficult. And fairly sleek in both modes

IS Springload a good figure, though? O would want a Spring Load, but not a shelf queen figure.
I passed on Drift and Jazz, they didn't really feel like better figures than their Generations counterparts, but I really did like the weapons arrangement on Drift.

For a one step, sure. Scales wells and fits the bill. Would I rather a proper deluxe warrior? Absolutely!Flashwave wrote:IS Springload a good figure, though? O would want a Spring Load, but not a shelf queen figure.
Drift is a nice figure, but comparing Gen and RID is like comparing apples and pears. Similar but different; lets be honest, apples tastes better.I passed on Drift and Jazz, they didn't really feel like better figures than their Generations counterparts, but I really did like the weapons arrangement on Drift.

Quillfire is also really good by himself. very unique transformation and he has a detachable quill!
legion fixit puts all other legions to shame. And maybe most of the other figures too.

Fracture is the best and the rest are all at a tier lower. Good for the toyline, but overall just not at the same level. The other 2 I happen to really like are Drift (either deco, the actic one is quite interesting with the clear plastic wheels) and Quillfire which has that interesting design you'd be looking for.

Cool. I'm going to be watching for them. Hey which marvel legends did you get? PM me if you want. I collect them a little too.

'Course, I'd have been all over this guy back during RotF when I was all obsessed over tiny construction-themed Decepticons. He pulls off the oddball proportions rather nicely, in both modes to boot!

Mini-Cons in this line are Buzzsaws, Torpedoes, Cyclones, Weaponizers, and whatever Fixit's model turns into.WreckerJack wrote:I really hope they make a minicon that is a cassette. Though sadly I don't think that they would because kids wouldn't know what it is.

Darn, the lack of thigh swivel is usually a deal breaker for me when it comes to toys I dont ned to have.

Yes, they are both decepticons

Aside from that, they are very different and as related to eachother as any decepticon is related to another. One is tall and powerful (pretty deadly one on one) and the other is a pint sized bot that is meant to be the butt of a joke.

Decepticon Decapod Crustaceans to be exact. Crabs (Clampdown) and Lobsters (Bisk) belong to the same Order (Decapoda), but are in separate branches from there (Brachyura for Crabs, Astacidea for Lobsters, Crayfish and their kin).
