Sure, it's not an official Hasbro product, nor is it actually meant to be a Transformers product at all, but it is a 1:1 replica of the actual golden disc that made a guest appearance in the Beast Wars cartoon.

This is a 1:1 replica of the Golden disc mounted to the Voyager Spacecraft that was launched decades ago and has left our solar system only a short period of time ago. This disk has been brought to life again by Artifactory Replicas.

This disk has found its ways into the clutches of the Predacons and ironically was returned to Earth in the distant past only to meet with destruction at the hands of Dinobot. This 1:1 scale replica can be purchased at site sponsor BBTS for $150.

The official product description reads as follows

Artifactory wrote:The Voyager 1 and 2 missions featured some of the most ambitious unmanned spacecraft ever launched. As part of this program, each probe carried a golden disc similar to the long playing phonograph records of the time. Pressed onto each disc were sounds and images from Earth.

The contents were chosen for NASA by a committee chaired by Dr. Carl Sagan of Cornell University. A cover plate for the "golden record" was designed to protect against micrometeorite bombardment in deep space. A diagram engraved in the plate gives the eventual finder of the disc the key to playing the record.

Artifactory brings you an exact replica of the record cover and its famous interstellar welcome signs. Our replica is machined from metal alloy sheet and features all of the correct engraved markings. A detailed document accompanies each replica, explaining the meaning of all the markings. Each replica disc comes permanently attached to an attractive wall display plaque.

pass! not G1 enough for me. Maybe if someone were to make real life scaled replica yellow construction hard hats like Spike used to wear?

also looking forward to news about companies that put in outdoor swimming pools, since one was featured in the first Michael Bay film.

although it would be pretty cool to own one of these the price is just way to high. If theres actual gold in it then maybe but this is ment for people who work at NASA or are really into space exploration & astronomy not TF fans. If it was the vok disc then it would be a different story but its not so theres really no point.
