I might be totally wrong here, but alot of these sound like hefty rewrites of code. Are any of these even possible?

decreasing the win bonus should be, unless theres a 100xp minimum cap.

Any "racial" bonuses won't work since it would be greatly unfair to the other factions if they do not get an automatic stat increase. It won't actually help prevent imbalance, it will just result in getting a leg up on the already small faction and allow them to get to a higher level faster since we have level based on upgrades and not total exp. If we used total exp, the stat upgrade won't be such a large tilt since everyone will still have the same amount of exp.

I don't think changing mission pay outs would be difficult to do, but it would have to be something that could be left in the code so in the future it either still runs to prevent future imbalance or won't tilt future pay outs adversely.

you should be able to use the mod panel(if it survived) to edit the win bonuses of missions, i know it's capped at 1000xp maximum, but i dunno what the lower cap is.

At the moment we can only add new missions, not edit existing ones.

Has anybody taken into consideration that maybe:

A. More Autobots started playing later than the Decepticons; and
B. Perhaps they aren't as active?

I know from the time that I have been playing, most "newcomers" seem to choose decepticon and they appear to be more active.

From my perspective, the missions are now starting to fill up a LOT faster with Autobots than ever before. Also, I am getting far less extravagant XP from missions than I was before.

I agree with Scantron: Making any changes at all is way to premature.

Well I'm sure the Bots at least will start evening out more with the Cons as time goes on. Its the beast factions I see having the issues for a much longer period of time due to number difference unless both get a nice boost in players. The 3 vs 3 and 4 vs 4 missions be added would at least give us a more even fight more of the time with the two big factions and is probably the easiest to pull off out of the methods mention. It probably should be done sooner then later.

There is also side switching, but that is something that should be reserve for later on after get better idea where every faction is at.

I agree with smaller missions... Maybe 4 v 4 would be perfect...?

I know they'll be harder to finish, and we'll likely end up with a lot more of tose "nobody wins" bugs, but anything is better than the 6 on 2 / 6 on 3 / lucky-if-you-get-40xp suicide missions i've been on lately.... I REALLY don't like going to the arena, but if it's a choice between 6-0 missions and the arena, I definitely go arena...

A lack of beast faction players also worry me for the future, however, since you can now start as one it isn't as bad.

Again, factions modifications could give benefits to those smaller beast factions in the future ;)

okay just got out of three unopposed Maximal mission. activated my guys for another whirl, go to the missions screen and what do i see?

empty maximal missions.

i am sorely tempted to turn off auot-CR and abuse the push gen bug to get missions against factions that actually have the numbers to turn up.


seriously, can we make it so the beast missions only spawn via push gen from beast players?

maximal here, I just don't bother putting my guys in (those 6-0) 'con missions anymore. 3 or 4 days ago I didn't mind, but now that everyone has some stats and is equipped with weapons, it just ain't worth it. I was fine with the 100 or so XP i'd get from losing before,... now if I go on a suicide run i'm lucky to get 30xp...

I still jump in now and then if i see a fellow maximal in need, but i refuse to become 'con fodder in those imba 6-0 missions.

We really need to start seeing the smaller missions again...
