Many cycles had passed since "The Great Reset", the war had continued unabated with many new warriors rising up to take the spots left empty by warriors who had simply vanished.

The inhabitants of Cybertron settled into the routine of beating down their opponents and pillaging the planet of Energon, then, without warning, a new wave of energy enveloped the planet, powering up many warriors.

Again without warning, the shape of the war had shifted, but before the four factions could ascertain the cause and effects of this wave, the powered up warriors ... vanished.

While those left behind set about the tasks of fighting the war and searching for their lost comrades, the powered up warriors found themselves standing in an arena.

The Huntmasters wrote:Warriors of Cybertron, we see you puny war over the last scraps of fuel on your planet and dispair. Your planet was once the glorious jewel in the crown of the galaxy, a shining example of strength in a universe littered with fragile and weak races.

The Smelting Pool league will run for 25 days from when our partner, Psychout of WarPorn Industries, announces it has begun. Fight cunningly, fight tatically, fight dirty, but above all know that we will be watching and those who do not follow the basic rules will be eliminated beyond where even your CR chambers can help you.
