Can't trust Hasbro with that, they showed a "3P" Devastator on one of their promotional presentations

What's funny about that Swoop is that people were discussing it on TFW with comments like this:

Details like the ball joint elbows and the half empty thighs seem MUCH more like a real Hasbro toy with a budget than something from a 3rd party.

People talk about elitism when discussing some fans going 3rd party over hasbro and comments like that don't help.

Even though I’m really focused on getting Snarl, Swoop, Shrapnel, & Bombshell, picking up these guys along the way will be niiiice.

I picked up SS86 Spike the other day, on clearance for $10AUD down from the usual $19AUD. $10 I could stomach, $19? Hell no.

Given that it is what it is, he's better than what I expected. Sure, transformation is ... well it's barely a transformation, and I see that with adult eyes even though as a 10 year old I thought the exosuit was pretty damn cool.

Back into his ummm ... upright mode? Poseability is limited but otherwise you can get a couple of good poses out of him. Adding a little nub to turn his head was a neat little touch that I wasn't expecting in such a small figure.

As a clearance item? Worth it. Full priced? Not so much.

It's funny that HasTak put a line on the sand with [blue] '86 Rumble. But still refused to do the exact same thing with Kingdom Cyclonus.

So I picked up Starscream, Gamestop had him on the clearance shelf, which is all half off the clearance price right now, so I got him for $24. He's OK. I like the coronation accessories enough, but I'm just meh on him overall.

His throne is nice though. Jhiaxus will be using it from here on out though.

I was in there yesterday looking for Tarantulas, and saw Screamer and Dragstrip on the clearance shelf, but Screamer was labeled at $48! So I didn't get him. Now I'll have to go back...

How is it a line in the sand? Rumble was always blue in the cartoon, and he was always red in the 1984 toys. It's never been in doubt.

Yep, Anything you see with a clearance tag in Gamestop right now is an additional half off.

Exactly that. In The Movie, both in onscreen visual composition (identical layout to Scourge's sequence), audio narrative and even Movie Storyboards. All state Bombshell becomes Cyclonus.

Half the time Cyclonus is a guy who didn't come from anyone. Why should they bother at all? Also, I've always said those guys were dead, so who cares where they came from?

Ultimately, it is the exact same thing as the whole Star Wars "Han shot first" bit. The Movie shows exactly what happened (pre-Lucas adjustment) and some people choose to ignore it and think the sky is green. Until some twit comes along and adds merit to the claim.

Depends on who you ask... I actually like it when companies are... coy with such matters and leave it to the imagination of the fans (for better or for worse). Like Serges in Mega Man X2

The more I see it, the more I think the throne was meant for other figures to use more than Starscream.
