I love it, the designs are a bit off, but the overall quality of the show is great, so colourful and well scripted.
Ratchet is my favourite, you really get the feeling that he'd prefer to be back on Cybertron telling young cyber-punks to "get off his asphalt".
Can't wait for the figures to be released!

This is how I feel. Its not what I would have wanted it to be but it has been done with thought.

I've considered all that you listed... It failed to grasp my attention. I really went into it wanting to like this show. When "Batman: The Animated Series" first debuted, I was skeptical of it until I actually saw the awesome quality of the animation combined with the excellently written stories, won me over! I don't get that feeling from this new TF series.
Are kidding me? In some regards the jokes had me scratching my head in amazement. They definately grasped attention because some of them were out from left field. Never in my life would I have imagined a kids show making a joke about the symbolism of the red cross.
PS. My first post. It only took me four years to make it.

Heh, yes, I remember that one!
Sari: "Don't worry, humans don't usually blow up things with those symbols on the side."
Ratchet: "And here I thought they made me an easier target."
And, welcome! Glad to see you finally jumped into the pool.

And isn't "Micromaster" a step down from "Mini-con" size wise? I know MMs could speak naturally unlike MCs who bleeped at first and spoke later, but their (MMs) toys are smaller.

Thankyou for that one.......just more proof that Animated Ratchet is not G1 Ratchet.

You're welcome (albeit the help was unintentional). I must admit I'm a tad puzzled at the confusion myself... the TF universe seems to favor reboots anyway, and the little G1 references struck me as nothing else but fanservice in the non-sexual sense of the term. Nice little easter eggs.

Same here.I can understand why people might want Animated to be a continuation of the G1 toon but there's no logical way to connect them.At least not from a character stand point.
There are already to many inconsistent points to be made when trying to connect the two serries.

B] it may have been eazy to wipe the info from TF data banks but I dont see how it could have been wiped out from human history.
Such things have been tryed in our history before but have never been able to be completly done.

Okay.
But still how does the ranking system work exactly? What are the ranks, how does one change his/her rank, what causes a rank change, can one mave down in rank, etc. etc...

but the more i watch it the more a reboot seems to make more sence. Animated seems to take a lot of G1, and some bay dynamix and mix them up into a new story. I'm not hating it...

The G1 "history" clips are meant to refer to the fact that G1 is actual real-life Transformer history, but in the fiction of Animated, the Great War has no bearing on G1's Great War, or anything TF that came before Animated, & vice versa. Animated is just another universe in the great TF multiverse, which we all should know by know is hasbro's catch-all "It's all good" backdrop for TF mythos.
i agree.
so let us sever any more links to G1 or at least reserve our theories until we see more of the series. i really don't think there is any way that this series can be called a continuation of the original.

Actually, considering my large collection of both Micromasters and Minicons, they're relatively the same size, with some bigger than others obviously.

On the flip side, a version of Optimus who isn't a carbon copy of his previous forms, is also a nice change!

Proof that you don't need two plus hours, excessive violence, foul language and disgusting sex talk to make a good TF film.
It's a shame Hasbro sold TFs out like they did.
Great one liners, incredible action, well placed humor without being campy or corny, dark and violent just enough without going over the limit of good taste.
People, if you're not watching TF:A...you're making a terrible, terrible mistake. The best TF series in a long, long time. It's even doing a great job of knocking BW out of the first place spot on my list.
And yes, Bumblebee is made of win.
Sari: I'm Sari.
Bumblebee: Oh Don't be, I like my name.
And Bulkhead...one of the best new characters in a long time. (it's also nice to hear Bill Fagerbakke do a voice without it sounding like an Idiot Savant Dauber.)
Bumblebee! My wrecking ball is stuck again!
I just cannot say enough good things about this show. I also can't wait for the second episode either. Hot Dang it was good.
And finally, for once...Starscream was a real, viable threat. He mopped the floor up with the Autobots and gave 'em a real run for their money. (That, in itself, is impressive.)
