OK question: Anyone know why Hasbro Toy Shop is not using the Free shipping over $50? I just attempted to order the protectobots and the free shipping is not activated....

I don't know why, but it's odd. I just made an order this weekend and it qualified for free shipping. You may want to contact them and see if they are just not currently offering free shipping.

Hmm, I forgot about him. I purchased him as well, but he'll NEVER be a part of Menasor either.

I can't stand menasors torso (ironically he won't stand either) so menasor will never be a part of menasor for me

I use cyclonus deadend dragstrip offroad and neck brace for my decepticombiner

That whole truck mold combined mode is the worst of all of them. And its the most widely used. if they maybe remolded the Hotspot torso that would have been a bit better I reckon. Then they could have included the trailer somehow

I don't mind Blast Off being a Jet, it just the head/face is wrong. They could have used the First Aid head for Blast Off

While I agree this looks better, I'm still going to go with the inaccurate jet Blast Off over the Takara space shuttle one. I know, I know, it's not G1, but frankly I've been dying to see an earth Combaticon team where they all turn into combat vehicles (cause, let's face it, a space shuttle isn't really a great vehicle for combat)

I personally like Blastoff as a shuttle and I am more of a beast wars kid. I just like seeing variety in alt modes and the Shuttle is not seen too often. Blastoff was the only transformer on the show to simply be a robot which turned into a shuttle. The other shuttles were triple changers or animal modes (astrotrain and skylynx). And also, with a name like Blast Off, how can it be anything else than a shuttle. Also a shuttle would have forced them to not be lazy with this lazy repaint.

I'm a G1 kid, but not a G1 collector/purist. I know, blasphemy. I too would like to see a shuttle for no other reason than mold variety. Same reason for him having his own head sculpt.

I probably won't complete Bruticus. Might make this my first Takara CW pickup if Takara announces a unique Blastoff.

Same here! Cyclonus looks great with Menasor's limbs.

I haven't bought Motormaster. I bought the OP version of the mold, which I'm planning on making my own combiner out of, with Mirage, Sunstreaker, Hound, and one more I haven't chosen yet.

I dont dislike this figure, I dislike Hasbro being lazy about it. Are you saying that color mapping is as energy consuming as making an new mold, or a retool, or just putting another head ? And I think the amount of digibashes found online is a testament to how little effort is needed. In comparison to every single other Combiner Wars release of G1 combiner figures, this is the one with the least added effort since it is the only one to be a straight up redeco. Feel free to argue that to your heart's content.

I was talking about the whole figure, not just the head. I don't get all bent out of shape over small parts that are different. It's when they try to replace an entire character for no reason (Alpha Bravo/Slingshot, Offroad/Wildrider) I get annoyed.
